Seeking an artistically inclined man who has a voracious appetite
for good books, a passion for music, (or be passionate about
anything for that matter) and a love of laughter. He would be
confident but not cocky, spontaneous and outgoing (though he would
still like his alone time to hang with his friends). He would have
high self esteem (none of that fishing for compliments crap). He
wouldn’t be concerned with vanity, either with himself or his
choice of women (a take me as I am or don’t take me at all
attitude). He wouldn’t consider me lazy just because I would prefer
to stay in bed rather than go out jogging (and he would be more
than welcome to join me). He doesn’t mind me asking him which shoes
go better with my outfit, but wont be bothered that his answer
would not dictate the outcome. He would be honest in his actions
and words (no means no; yes means yes). He would not feel
emasculated to let me pick the bar/club/restaurant that I would
like to go out to, or even pay once in a while (but never expect it
as a given). Lastly and most importantly if we met some evening and
talked for a while but I had to go I would say "Here is my phone
number. I like you. Call me". And he would...

I am artistic, country, and happy.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an Alumni of Humboldt State University. I graduated with my BA
in Art Education. I currently work for HSU and manage an art
gallery on the weekends.
I’m really good at
Multitasking...I'm a busy person that likes to keep going, going,
going...and I'm really good at balancing life.
And cooking for that matter. I fancy myself a good chef.
The first things people usually notice about me
My gregarious nature.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love the Mercy Thompson series, On Dublin Street Books, but most
of my book choices are guilty pleasures and I often won't admit to
them...i.e...I'm a closet Harry Potter fan and I'm presently in a
smexy book rut...
I love movies, The Big Year tops my list at the moment. Though I
find it hard to pick favorites, I do love Pride & Prejudice,
Dr. Who, Downton Abby, The Office, Dexter, The Newsroom, Arrested
Development, Always Sunny...
I <3 Sushi. Nuff said.
The six things I could never do without
4. Good Books
5. More Coffee
I reserve the right to swap out for my reserve list...
8. Good Music
9. More Art
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Buying a house one day. I love to watch house hunters! It's
teaching me the ins & outs of house hunting...I'd love to buy a
place in arcata and fix it up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the Friday...I love to go out to Arts Arcata and enjoy
the wine tasting on the plaza.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If you look and/or sound like a stoner I probably won't message you
back. Sorry I just really can't date someone who smokes, nothing
