I am a Florida girl at heart with traditional southern values. I
moved to the big city as part of Teach For America, where I taught
high school math for two years in the South Bronx. I now work at
Teach For America on their marketing team.
I take pleasure in seeing the beauty around me - from the intricate
architecture of the city to the colors in a Monet painting. I also
try to find the beauty in the people I meet, which sometimes leads
people to think I am naive. I like to give people the benefit of
Hmm.. what else? I would rather go for a walk around the Reservoir
in Central Park on a sunny day than spend the night in a club
(although I do appreciate this when I'm with people who know how to
have a good time and not take themselves too seriously). I have a
close-knit group of friends, many of whom I've known since I was 11
or younger, who are living all over the country now.
Well, I don't want to give away everything at once! Looking to meet
funny, goal-oriented, all-around American guy. :)
