I'm always up for anything and hate planning things too far in advance unless it's absolutely necessary. Half the fun is the unknown, and I like people who share that attitude. I'm nocturnal and require minimal amounts of sleep, and like someone to keep me on my toes. I just moved back from NYC after living there for 8 years. I absolutely love that city but am happy to be back and explore the fun city Minneapolis has evolved into over the years! I love live music, comedy and any live sporting event. I also love trying new hidden gem type restaurants and bars and am open to any and all suggestions/tours :) Biggest pet peeve: bad spelling and grammar. Also dislike the over-usage of "lol", "ttyl", and basically any text-abbreviation. I am absolutely a kid at heart and a social butterfly. I also get really excited about little, simple things. I've been told I'm witty and sarcastic, and appreciate people who can dish it and take it right back. Sarcasm is a language you must understand or we're in trouble!
I love traveling: recently went to South Africa (ever been cage diving with Great White sharks? If not...do it!) and am heading to China in March. Love little random domestic trips too...especially spontaneous ones!
What I’m doing with my life
living it and going with a plan, but a flexible one :) As I previously mentioned, I just moved back to Minnie after an 8 year vacation in NYC. Just kidding about vacation (I was gainfully employed the whole time) but it was a blast and I wouldn't take the experience back for anything . I got a great job opportunity here, my parents and brother/sister in law/adorable nephew are here, and all signs pointed back to the Midwest :) So here I am..adjusting to the different pace and breathing in the fresh air! Life is good. Now I just need some friends since everyone here is married with 29 kids!
I’m really good at
making the most out of things, partaking in random and challenging things without hesitation, being blunt, making friends, volunteering, keeping the work place fun, and thinking outsise of the box. What I'm not really good at: writing online dating profiles.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hair, smile, and the fact that I often times forget my filter at home.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many to list...just ask! It's more fun that way anyway.
The six things I could never do without
Seltzer, wine, Saved by the Bell re-runs, my phone, dive bars, people watching. (I'm leaving out friends, family, etc. because those are obvious - I adore them!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
really random things that no one else seems to think about.
On a typical Friday night I am
typically not at home!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I actually do have a soul, despite my gingerness. Shh...
