I'm an aspiring writer and a mediocre artist. I'm addicted to coffee and very little else. Easily amused, somewhat reserved, silent in crowds, cranky when woken abruptly, social activist when I wouldn't rather take a nap.

Someday, I'm going to be really awesome. According to some, this may have already happened, but I wouldn't place bets on it.

You can learn some stuff about me by looking at the big pink letters and random other factoids on this page, but suffice it to say I am in my last year of school at a Kentucky college, and am majoring in English (specifically, writing).

I believe creativity is important. Colors, characters. A healthy respect for storytelling -- be it in film or television, visual, aural or textual form. You get the idea. I like music, even though I sometimes forget to listen to it. I like people, although I sometimes forget to interact with them. I like to stay up late, get up early, and sleep. (You can tell how that leads to some problems.)

I don't know. What else is there to say?

Currently, I am working toward getting a B.A. in English and using that to pursue a lovely career in retail and/or fast food. The usual. I've been applying to various MFA programs, with little hope of actually being accepted to any. We'll see how that goes.

Eyes are windows to the soul or whatever, right? In that case, most people probably bounce off my glasses. I'm getting a new pair with some anti-glare to take care of that.

Coffee, art, books, shoes, my glasses, a shower.

Life the universe and everything. Food. How on earth I will be able to write the next great American novel.

Asleep. Or writing.

I steal dishes from the college cafeteria. No, really. A lot.

You're vaguely in the same region as me and you're interested in getting to know me. (I accidentally typed "if you're interesting" at first, and yeah, that too.) Also if you live far away and want to have cool conversations about life or art or comic books or something. I might be into that. Just a warning, I don't log into OKCupid very frequently, so replies might take... a long time.

I will read any message you send, but I'm much more liable to reply if you can spell and if you don't ask me to be your shiny alien lovebitch or whatever. (I probably shouldn't have said that. I'm getting three times as many requests for me to serve as a shiny alien lovebitch as I did before the warning. Y'all think you're pretty funny.)
