Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
responsible and self sufficient might be words others use when
describing me but it's taken years to get that way. It's given me
the freedom to pursue a lot of fun and interesting things in my
life. Always on a learning curve so like to read, travel, theatre,
stay healthy, exercise, and love to eat. Fairly pragmatic in how I
handle my life and figure I'm responsible for it - if I want
something I have to figure out how to get it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I swim with a Masters swim team and compete with other teams
locally and sometimes internationally. Sing with a Gay Men's chorus
for several years now which has given me a great appreciation for
music and how it affects myself and others we perform for. I'm a
Nurse/teacher for a school district which reminds me daily the
responsibility every adult has to be a role model to a younger
generation - we are always being watched - yikes!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening and problem solving but won't give an opinion unless
asked (most of the time)! Good at giving people a second chance
(not so good the 3rd time around). Love to volunteer and help
people who genuinely need it. Have a knack for organizing (except
for my walk-in closet)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not sure about what people first notice about me - I've never
asked. I stay in shape and have had comments about my butt - not
sure that would be the first thing a person would see if I walked
into a room (unless it's backwards). Maybe my blue eyes

these conversations are perfect for face to face meetings - too
many likes and thoughts on these topics, but in general, I love to
read! Newspaper almost daily, always have my Kindle charged and
ready to take with me, autobiographies, non-fiction, science
fiction, mysteries, classical. I can listen to most types of music
- not so much hip hop/rap (they're more like poetry with noise
behind it), I really like the theatre and try to go to shows as
much as possible in L.A., here in long beach or where I happen to
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'd have to think about this question but I think everyone would
secretly like to put "toilet paper" on this list - lol Here
- A place to call home.
- At least one friend
- The commitment to stay healthy
- Being responsible for my actions
- Being a person others can trust
- Following thru on my promises
- I'm cheating now - Still need, food, water, electricity, cell,
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Wat to do next - things that I've wanted to do like
travel/education/restaurat etc. As a single person I have the time
to do many things but I'd prefer to do them with a friend or
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
meeting friends for dinner/movie or catching up on laundry and
recorded shows on my DVR. Friday sometimes sneaks up on me during
the week. I haven't planned anything until last minute. - It's
basically a crap shoot.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I could eat breadfast anytime of the day or night.
