I am here just looking to meet some interesting people. I am very interested in learning about cultures, art history, and languages. I am currently a student with a double major in Art Education and Spanish. I plan to study abroad in Spain soon and am very much looking forward to that experience. I've always had a great interest in languages and have studied Italian, German, and Spanish but most extensively Spanish. I am also a lover of art and what others might consider an artist. I do love to create. Some of my favorite methods of creating include painting, drawing (graphite, charcoal, and pen and ink), throwing pottery, and photography. Oops. I must have gotten ahead of myself... As stated above I am a student... However, I feel that the term student will be applicable for myself throughout the duration of my life. I am a lover of knowledge and will (I have confidence) find myself learning for many years to come no matter what I happen to be doing in life.

Sometime in the future I would like to teach English in a foreign country.

Eek... I don't so much like talking about what I think I'm good at. That question is best left to someone who knows me well.

That I'm a bit short... So I tend to wear heels : )

I love many books and am constantly looking for something new and interesting to read. I like to read all different types of genres and have rarely started a book without finishing it.

I also love to watch a lot of movies... pretty much anything that has a good story... but I refuse to watch something that has no meaning. (Okay, so now I realize that "refuse" is perhaps a bit stronger than I intended... I am open to options but will probably complain incessantly about watching a stupid movie.)

My favorite music.... Live music, preferably with an acoustic guitar. I like most things as long as I don't find it too offensive. I don't like abrasive music.

As for food, I love a lot of different things. After spending a month in Italy, Italian food holds a special place in my heart. : ) I try to eat healthy food... which typically means food that isn't highly processed... fresh, if you will. I think it's important to treat your body well... Hopefully you feel the same.

I like to think that I'm an adaptable person and would be able to function without many of the amenities I have currently. Not to say that it would be easily done...

Having said that... a few intangible things that I feel I could not do without follow:

Life, religion, relationships, people & behaviors. I also spend a great deal of time thinking about my own beliefs and questioning/challenging myself.

Why I find myself being drawn to profiles that "reply selectively"...

Working, sleeping or studying. During the upcoming year I will probably find myself studying. Occasionally when the mood strikes me I go out with friends but I am not into the bar scene that much anymore.

I'm a truly empathetic person and often find myself extremely moved and troubled over the injustice that occurs far too often in our world... I believe in the ethical treatment of all living things and can find absolutely no reason to justify the taking of a human life... If you're not okay with my mentality please send your messages to someone else.
