My self-summary
I graduated from Wake Forest May '07. I spend a lot of time working toward financial freedom, but I try my best to keep in touch with my friends. I would rather spend time with a smaller group of friends instead of going to clubs, parties, or mass gatherings where I don't know anyone. I find almost everything interesting and amusing. I love learning about people's thoughts, lives, and plans. I am more of a long range planner in all aspects of my life, but as evident by this summary, not exactly the most organized person in the world.

I don't attempt to impress my views upon others, and I do not enjoy others that try to force their views on me. I am fascinated by people's views on almost any subject and greatly enjoy rational discussion.

I am driven, analytical, and open minded
What I’m doing with my life
I am a financial risk officer in Charlotte. Within 10-20 years, I will probably be running my own business, but, for now, I am enjoying my current opportunities.
I’m really good at
I am pretty decent with computers. I tend to be pretty quick at figuring out things or coming up with solutions to problems.
The first things people usually notice about me
Perhaps some day I will ask a few people and fill in this section. I would like to think that people notice that I am quick to volunteer to help out, be that be a willing ear, another viewpoint on a problem, or with some good old fashion manual work.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: anything by Robert Ludlum, Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, George RR Martin, Raymond Feist or Tolkien. Ender's Game, and the Ender's books with Bean in them. I am a fan of most Fantasy and Sci-Fi books. I am a fan of anything with good character or plot development, such as Les Miserables, or makes you think, such as The Prince.

Movies: I enjoy every genre except horror, as I just don't get the point. Mindless action movies, fantasy, drama, sci-fi, and comedy are all grand.

Music: I am a fan of everything except country. Not that I hate country, just that if it were strictly up to me, I would listen to something else.

Food: Yes, as long as it does not overdo it on the mayo. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be sushi.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order, I could do without the following, but they make life all the more enjoyable:

my mind, without it I would find myself very boring.

pandora, without my life would be far too quiet.

my family, without them I would lack the guidance that has directed me through life.

my friends, without them I would be bored to tears every weekend.

my books, I am a total nerd, few things beat curling up with a good book and a hot cup of tea.

my computer, it is my livelihood, my entertainment center, and my main communication tool.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I often think about my future goals, trying to evaluate if I am doing the best I can to move toward them.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually hanging out with a small group of friends watching a movie, playing computer games, board games, hanging out, or just enjoying a good book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once got a ward against logic; it allows me to add 2 'n 2 and get a pickle.

(If you know the reference, I want to buy you dinner)

You should message me if
You are in the Charlotte area and want to hang out, grab coffee, know a good place to eat, or you feel like it.

NOTE: I have very little respect for those that do not understand that certain words that sound similar can have drastically different meaning. Butchering of your and you're as well as their, there, and they're is perhaps the fastest way for me to dismiss you as a moron.

Honestly, you are at a computer, use or, if you are uncertain. Believe it or not, if you do this enough, you will actually learn the meanings of words and use them correctly without even thinking.

This marks the end of my little rant. Should this scare off someone fabulously interesting, I will do my best to pretend to be sorry.
