My self-summary

Windstorms are awesome. I love camping in the living room.

"There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness."
~Friedrich Nietzsche

So I'm falling down this mountain, mouth full of fresh snow, wondering if I am about to become one of those beginner snowboarding statistics. Crisp air, clear blue sky overhead, snow covered trees whizzing past me. I definitely heard a "crazy gringo" from the direction of the very nice Hispanic family to my left as I came careening to a halt in quite an impressive shower of snow. In my "need for speed" I had forgotten, again, that my first lesson had been about two hours prior. Grinning like an imbecile, adrenaline pumping, I jumped on the chair lift again.

Next up, falling off the top of the mountain... maybe after a few more trips down the blue runs.

After savagely beating my alarm clock into submission every Monday morning I think to myself, "If only there was some sort of structure that we could construct to span across this obstacle connecting these two roads and aiding in travel!" Oh, wait that's my job, I build bridges! And about anything else. Warning: driving down the highway with me will get an endless stream of "Hey! I built that! And that!".

Not that building massive structures of steel and concrete isn't exciting it does leave me many opportunities to pursue my dream of starting my business as a lion taming, bush pilot/steampunk mad scientist and leaving me free to relax most weekends with a glass of wine and a good book catching up on Doctor Who or maybe just gaming with my minions (er, kids).

As for the kind of woman I find attractive… Active, both mentally and physically, enjoys the outdoors, enjoys fantastic home cooked meals (I swear I should be on Food network), and Occasionally rocking out at a show, or going to whatever con, faire, parade, concert that sounds interesting.

Warning: if you can’t hold onto a conversation about more than what Brad and Angelina did last summer, we’re not the best match. On the other hand, if you know what you want, and aren’t afraid of having a ton of fun while going after it, send me a message and let’s chat....
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been building stuff since I was 19 and dropped out of college. Is it too late to learn to be a lion tamer?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not filling this out.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a huge tease.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I am a closet Science Fiction geek.

Movies easier to give my favorite directors: Joss Whedon, Stanley Kubrick, Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Luc Besson, Quentin Tarantino, Terry Gilliam, Joel Coen & Ethan Coen, James Cameron, Tim Burton, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Jackson

Music: I listen to a little of anything as long as its good, especially good rock and roll.

Food: Omnivore, I'm always looking for my next food experience as long as my wallet and my waistline hold out.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Lets see, skip the regular boring junk,

The feel of silk against my skin
The taste of chocolate
The sound of laughter
The scent of fresh brewed coffee
Sitting next to a fire after being out in the snow
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How everything I seem to know I learned from The Princess Bride and Doctor Who. That would explain the unfortunate bowtie phase I think.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing games with my teenage sons.
