I am passionate, fearless, and unconventional.

My Self-Summary

Here by popular demand...words!! Sorry to leave you guys hanging for um, a whole 24 hours ;)
I am. Goofy, unadulterated fun, honest to a fault, sincere, sweet, kind, prone to OCD moments and speaking in baby voices to animals, patient in traffic (except when I'm not), and obscenely cheerful to mean people (I like to watch their gears grind). I like mani/pedis with the girls, playing football in the mud with the boys, any kind of music from Opera to Metal, reconnecting with nature, finding zen moments unexpectedly, and feeling adrenaline rush through my veins...

What I’m doing with my life

Besides writing this essay just for you? When not expounding on the virtues of lil ol me on the OKC, I work as a store executive for one of those big shmancy department stores..8 years and they haven't broken my soul...yet. When they let me go home, I hit: 1. The Gym-specifically my Jiu Jitsu instructor..and he likes it 2. The Town and the nearest karaoke bar, girlfriends in tow 3. Barnes and Noble. Yeah I'm that girl sitting on the floor with her venti Chai Latte, next to a teetering stack of random books, reading until they kick me out, or the lights go off, whichever happens first...

I’m really good at

Making people feel like they've known me forever. For some reason people divulge their deepest darkest to me very quickly and i find out things I really didn't want to know..not just first dates either..we're talking ladies in the checkout line at CVS telling me about their reproductive problems! Sigh...gotta stop being quite so polite to random strangers.

The first things people usually notice about me

So, if I look serious, I'm probably just concentrating..otherwise I'm always smiling..gotta give Mom her money's worth, 2 years in braces was expensive! Other than that, the eyes I guess? I also hear almost every day "has anyone ever told you you look like Liv Tyler/ Rose McGowan?" Yeah..I really don't see it...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Wait, I get a whole page for this right? No? Ok, I'll keep it short.

Books: on the bedside table right now..Anne Rice, Stephen King and Stephen Hawking

Movies: I don't discriminate, I like every genre, and if I don't have anything else to do, I'm probably at the theatre.

Music: Is my soul. On rotation right now: Audioslave, Shinedown, Dido, Heart, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold, Enya, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, STP, 311, Blue October, Jill Scott, Michael Buble, U2, Deftones, Harry Connick Jr., Cranberries, Johnny Cash, India Arie, Fugees, Alice in Chains, Jay-Z, Tool, Led Zepplin, and PM Dawn

TV: not so much. But when so inclined... Fringe, True Blood, Lie to Me, and pretty much anything on the Discovery Channel, especially Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman!

The six things I could never do without

1. Music. I don't watch TV much, but there always has to be music in the background..whatever I'm doing...

2. I'm not big on technology, but a phone. I lost mine for 3 days once, and it drove me crazy! I didn't even need to use it, but what if I had?

3. Big comfy bed and the sound of a huge thunderstorm outside..tin roof nice, but not mandatory.

4. Food. Especially Sushi and Italian..I love to eat! Hence...

5. The Gym. I love to eat.

6. The Fam. Roots are good.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I want to do next. More school, different job, American Idol? Or the less talented America's Got Talent? Stowaway on a boat to Hawaii and sell shell bikinis on the beach? Something...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Uh...I like cold hotdogs? I know, eww. But only the kosher ones if that makes any difference.

You should message me if
