My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like science, photography, comedy, dancing, charity/thrift shops, yoga, lifting, cycling, internetting. I'm polyamorous.

Champagne socialist.
(But srsly tho, anti-capitalist/anarchist/anarcho-syndicalist/libertarian socialist , intersectional feminist, bright green environmentalist.)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Have just moved into the awesomest big queer house in NW London.
I'm officially 10 months in and in a sort of PhD limbo atm, I want to continue it, but I couldn't stand NZ anymore after 5 months back there, so I took the first opportunity to piss off back to England (I lived in Cambridge for 2 years).
Pretty excited about now getting to go to the Dublin anarchist book fair in April. I'll be living in Dublin from maybe July or so, it's all up in the air atm.
My bf Hydeandsikh (lol 99% match 0% enemy, congrats, matching algorithm) lives in Dublin and I'm dating a friend in Cambridge.

Learning Swedish
Playing Super Hexagon
Selling anything I can't fit into a suitcase.
Getting back into lifting. Goal is deadlifting twice my bodyweight.
Being sad I had to sell my SLR of 3 months, but actually maybe relieved because holy hell this is a lot of post-processing to do.

Listening to HPMoR, all of David Harvey's readings,, NPR and as much of The News Quiz as I can find.

I did my undergrad in NZ. I've tutored a fair few phys/maths papers. Self-employed by necessity.
I don't own a car and don't plan to. (Yeah I'll still be cycling when I'm 90 :-P)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting distracted. Or focusing really intensely. It's one of those.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I _think_ that maybe it perhaps might be that I have thigh-length multi-coloured hair.

I've been described as scary, outgoing, and shy as first impressions. I don't fake friendliness.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Internet, my friends, plane tickets, bike, yoga, meds/supplements.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. How people work. How to contribute to human progress. How much I love my friends. How to overthrow capitalism. Why so many people are ignoring the absolute clusterfuck that is 21st century CO2 levels.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I dunno, out if there's something good on. If not, probably chatting or studying or photo-editing or posting on tumblr too much while listening to something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This isn't actually my natural hair colour.

Dumb question aside, I guess a lot of people would consider the fact that I've had a chronic pain syndrome (fibromyalgia), since I was 16 (undiagnosed until 22), to be private.

My filter is set at 75%, btw.

You're intelligent, honest, humourous, a polymath and/or unconventional in some way.

Looks-wise I tend to go for slim darkish-haired guys in the 5'9-6'4 range. I seem to have a thing for cupid's bows. Snappy dresser is a plus. I'm really not into really masculine, "rugged" looking guys.

Don't bother messaging me if you are: not a feminist, anti-choice, racist, pro-gun "rights", homophobic, transphobic, right wing, religious, superstitious, pseudoscientific or a climate change-denier (see pseudoscience), prescriptivist or neoliberal.
