I am an atheist non-breeder, but I'm not militant about either.

I'm stubbornly optimistic, but at the same time very shy about meeting people in public. I've never been very interested in raising a family, so if you're looking to have children I'm probably not the guy for you. However, I'm open to marriage, getting a cat, and growing old together. :-) I'm looking to meet a kindred spirit, not someone to fill a void in my life, just someone to enjoy the good times with -- whether it be drinking, drinking, traveling, exploring good restaurants, or sharing hobbies.

I'm 5'11, a little geeky, white, fit-ish, and thoughtful. I'm almost always in a happy mood, but I sometimes show signs of workaholism. I love food and cooking! I have the body language of Zach Braff in Garden State, soo.. yeah... I was born without a lot of soul. Ha ha ha. I have legendary bags under my eyes from a lifetime of programming. I've got more hobbies than time. I've been involved in creating synthesizers and synth software for a few years. I'm a web developer for a living. I love working my projects, but I also love getting out of the house and exploring. I'm honest, liberal, and stable. I come from a great and loving family and have some fantastic friends.

I'm happy to live in such a diverse community and my friendship is borderless. Saying that, I'm overly picky about -girlfriends-, and it's certainly my Achilles heel. I apologize up front. I'm not generally attracted to tall girls, larger girls, or girls who are overly accessorized. I tend to be attracted to girls with dark hair (which includes Asians), short hair, and somewhat fit. Artistic, nerdy, shy, edgy: any of these are definitely a plus. Also a big plus if you like any type of electronic music or fishing. You can be a little crazy, but no major drug issues, A.D.D, or O.C.D please.
Some things that interest me:

- learning how to make cheese, beer, and sausages
- traveling to countries and taking pictures of the architecture
- going someplace that I can *really* see the stars
- buying a metal detector and going hunting for loot
- hunting edible mushrooms (I've done this before!)

Keeping busy. Cooking, walking, and working. Making experimental music.
