My self-summary
What can I say? I am more of an introvert but once I get to know my other party I quickly warm up, that's if I like you. Anyhow, I am huge lover of the arts, especially anything pertaining to Classical Music (Grieg, Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Mendelsonn, Vivaldi, Debussy, etc.) and architecture (Gothic and Georgian to Modern). I love to travel, especially to Lyon, FR, where I studied wine in nearby regions (Burgundy, Rhone, Beaujolais) and the food is magnafique! But, I enjoy travelling most anywhere, from a 20 mile drive to a 6,000 mile plane ride, I am always up for it. Perhaps, that is why I log nearly 22,000 miles a year on my odometer.

Bicycling is the ultimate exercise and stress-reliever and I believe that anyone who tries cycling will ultimately become overly addicted to it.......it's always nice to meet someone whom enjoys taking leisurely rides through a misty rain or early morning sunrise.

I am originally from the Chicagoland area, just west, and went to school in Oak Park, known very well for one of the great architects of all time, Frank Lloyd Wright. If ever you can, I strongly recommend visiting his home and studio, the children's play room is stunning!

Other than that, I suppose I could have simply said, I love to travel, attend concerts/museums, cycle, eat, drink wine, and converse.....oh, and I love math, and more........

What I’m doing with my life
Currently, I am finishing up my last semester (the semester from hell) and look forward to graduating with a B.S. in Insurance. But, my true goal is to combine Insurance with wine and ultimately establish my own vineyard growing Rhone-Style wines!

I’m really good at
I excel at listening to people, especially when they are down or just not feeling it. I am even better at tasting wine (no, I am not an alcoholic.......I have to keep my palate up to date) and pairing them with food. So, if you're down, let's talk and share a few glasses......if you like. But, I may be best at contemplation about everything from which chocolate bar to which wine, to when I should do my work!

The first things people usually notice about me
My green eyes and that I am rather quiet, but they soon realize
from talking to me that I know quite a lot of knowledge (some
useless but mostly advantageous).

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything, from something that has no real bearing on my life to the most critical events, especially events that I have no control over........like my past decisions. Also, why I did not go to wine-making school at UC-Davis....but, I am not too worried. I will one day attain my ultimate goal of a vineyard.

On a typical Friday night I am
Usually reading some wine/architecture magazine and then I head on over to the market for a bottle of wine and something to cook. Maybe hangout with friends later on in the evening or have the come over for a mini-wine tasting. Yes, I am an oenophile or as they call it, a wine nerd. But, I also have no problem grabbing a pizza and going from there......
