T-D-1: I do enjoy hiking sometimes, but I'm not too comfortable going to remote places with someone I have just met on the internet. And, I kind of enjoy a yoga session and later sitting in a cafe with a book or pen and paper….that's my nature.
OKC: Women want babies. Do you want a baby?
T-D-1: Wow, you sure do get to the awkward questions. First off, I feel like you're generalizing and it would be better to say, people like babies. And sure, I will have a baby someday, but I really have to be in a relationship for a while to see if that's going to pan out. I would rather have a savings account set up for my kid to go to college and not a hefty rehab bill.
---I'm avoiding the essay----
If I feel there's a vibe, that's brilliant and that tends to happen in person more than in writing about myself because I am the unreliable narrator of my life.
This is my lingo: I feel like most people are broken and some of us do our best to work on ourselves. Broken and mending/fixing is so much more fun than the -life is great, always has been always will- type person and they usually have that laugh that is borders on mania.
---Too dark, bring it back up-----
I don't wallow in any of this.
Good point. I live for creativity, watching others do things I couldn't ever do and working on my own things. I love storytelling and I actually get a kick out of when things are going wrong because I immediately see it as material in the future.
Like if I ever got mugged, and I really should have by now since I used to live in a high crime area, I would be excited because I would already see the story.
(You forgot my cell phone, the pin number is 4578 so you can make as many calls and purchases as you can....wait, stop running, what are your names? - No because I can't wait to tell this story and I want to get it right. And what compelled you to pick me instead of that gentleman across the street? - Why are you running?)
Just moved here from San Francisco. I love both Los Angeles and San Francisco. I also dig seeing live bands, going to readings, storytelling series, art installations, plays or sitting on a bench in Griffith Park and eating berries.
Coffee is a major part of a necessary diet.
