My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm all about action and adventure.... That's IF action and adventure is reading a book at a cafe and giggling a bit too loud on the funny parts.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I write a lot. Features in newspapers and magazines, a novel released a few years ago that I was able to adapt to the screen and the film edit is finally locked and they're in post-sound.

BTW, I throw the film lingo around like I know what I'm talking about, but I ask every step of the way, uh, what's ADR? Ah, great.

What's 10-1? Oh, I 10-1 myself.

I love hiking, conversation and intelligence are a real turn on....and book smart is okay, I'm really forever curious and always hunger to know more....emotional and social intelligence is really cool.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Entertaining myself in tedious locations like DMV or other long lines. Reflect, meditate, take notes, strike up conversations, it's all fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
They tend to look at my eyes, but if I'm dancing, I have some mad moves.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:
Hunger by Knut Hamsun, Journey to the End of the Night by Celine, Bukowski, Kerouac, Michel Houellebecq, contemporary fiction, essays, etc.

Movies:
Spy. I walked into the movie not knowing anything about it other than Paul Feig wrote and directed it, and that's all I needed to know. Funniest film I have seen in a long time.

Jim Jarmusch, Woody Allen, especially his early, funny movies, Wes Anderson, I can go from the Apu Trilogy to Iron Man and back. As long as the story is solid.

Music:
Beastie Boys, Nick Cave, Rowland S. Howard, Barry Adamson, Tom Waits, K.D. Lang, Marianne Faithful, Einsturzende Neubauten, Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Munly and the Lee Lewis Harlots, 16HP, The Kinks, Redd Kross, Angels of Light, Swans and more.

TV:
British comedy like I'm Alan Partridge, The Mighty Boosh, Peep Show....those crazy Brits. Newsroom, Broad City, Louie.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Humor, storytelling, love, my friends for life, growth, a precis v0.7 pen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When will this group meditation be done? I was zen like 20 minutes ago. Ohm.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Writing, editing, hanging with friends....nothing typical.
