I worked for a Fortune 10 company for several years, but now I'm on the business side of things.
I am a huge foodie. I love both the complexity and heat of Indian food and the simple brilliance of American (fast) food.
I am becoming an annoying health nut :)
I love playing tennis, soccer, and racquetball.
I know EXACTLY what I want to do with my life. Find a CREATIVE job in marketing or advertising because I great at marketing and business.
In the meantime I'm working on a home business. It's exciting to think where that could take me. I've been pretty successful with my business so that I can see myself making it my full time job :)
TV: Arrested Development, The Amazing Race, The King of Queens, The Big Bang Theory. The Apprentice, Home Movies, Family Guy, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, Big Brother (who doesn't like to snoop?)
I'm also a huge fan of the late great comedian George Carlin.
Music: Live shows are important. I used to mainstream music but now I use Pandora to listen to independent music like William Elliot Whitmore, Flogging Molly, Lone Bellow Musikanto, Deer Tick, Khaled and I'm discovering more everyday.
I also like mainstream music.
Fleetwood Mac is the best band in the world. I will punch you if you say otherwise :) David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Incubus, Green Day, Weezer, Metallica, Pink Floyd, and Prince, William Elliott Whitmore, Dire Straits, Fitz and The Tantrums Franz Firzgerald, U2, GARBAGE, Alter Bridge and Led Zeppelin are other favorites. MGMT & The Ettes are two kick ass new bands I recently discovered. I used to be one of those people that hated country music but I'm starting to like some of it. I still hate most new country but I like older country artist like Conway Twitty.
I'm also a HUGE fan of the radio show This American Life and I have the TAL app for my iPhone.
Books: Love books.I'll read any book real or digital.
I just read Siddhartha, The Good Earth, and Fahrenheit 451 on my spankin new Kindle. Currently re-reading Things Fall Apart.
Some of my favorite books are:
Any book by Douglas Adams
Food: I like almost any food I eat. I do have standards though. Been getting more and more into Thai cuisine esp. the curry based dishes. Always enjoy a steak or a good sandwich. Classic American dishes like meatloaf and lasagna are my true weakness. And I won't lose popularity points by saying I have a love affair with pizza. Can't go wrong with Pie and Cake.
The Meaning of the Universe
Always on the lookout to do something new and exciting on Fridays.
Something about Seattle that screams outdoor fun. Hilly but fun.
It's also fairly important that my future girlfriend/wife be a decent cook. This doesn't mean I think all girls can do is cook. I am a feminist. Cooking should be a small part of her life. She doesn't have to be a professional chef or make fancy dishes every day. In fact I prefer simple food on a daily basis.
