- facing some delays but will make it! Hoping to make some new
friends who can show me around. I am leaving a big, beautiful,
vibrant queer community in DC and have heard nothing but
awesomeness about Oakland.

I am butch - female bodied/masculine of center presenting. That
means I feel comfortable with short hair and clothing designed for
masculine people. I'm sometimes described as "queenie". I'm not
into recreating heteropatriarchal gender dynamics - which really
means I will open the door for you- but only because it is the
polite thing to do and I would open the door for anyone. I don't
respond well to expectations or pressure to play games/roles. I
grew up with 5 older brothers and wasn't particularly feminine
growing up so I'm still learning to recognize femininity within
