My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Warm, smart, and funny brown-eyed girl looking for the same in a great guy (except for the eyes...they can be any color).

I'm into art and creativity, picnics and parks, lazing about, and making tons of lists that I never look at.

Very few things shock me. Actually, I lie. Many things shock me, especially the everyday things in life...doors slammed in your face, litter on the streets, that Reading Rainbow is no more...shocking.

I'd like to think that I am open-minded and I am pretty willing to see things from different perspectives. I am a tiny bit shy, but I have adapted and can make decent conversation relatively easily. There may be a few awkward moments, but hey, we're meeting online, and dating can kinda be awkward. I won't be too critical if you aren't.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After a wonderful ride at an amazing non-profit, I am now experiencing the luxury of figuring out what to do with my life. I have no idea, which is kinda nice—after all, possibilities are what make life interesting.

In the meantime, on a practical level, going to grad school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
guessing what's gonna happen next in a movie (sometimes). I read a lot of nancy drew as a kid.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my height--I'm short--not debilitatingly so, but short enough to be in the category of "shorty." I also have a height perception issue. This means that I think I am as tall as everyone else (even those 6ft +), and then am mocked endlessly when I share this information with others.

my laugh. Apparently is it selective, genuine, and contagious. This is according to expert testimony. It is not embarrassingly loud--but it is loud enough to make people around want to join in on the fun.

full-figured...but in all the right places. yeah, baby

Movies: Igby Goes Down, Alien, The Godfather, The Lord of the Rings, North by Northwest, Pride and Prejudice (A&E version lest I be considered a fool), The Importance of Being Earnest, Seven Samurai, The Magnificent Seven; generally indie and foreign flicks.

I am also a big fan of Pandora Internet Radio.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
life could not be truly complete without...dark roast coffee, port wine, olive oil & garlic, incredible friends, quiet bars, and being buried underneath blankets when it's cold.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I had a whole paragraph here about Somali pirates and how impressed I was by them. But, given recent events, thought that it would be a bit inappropriate to keep.

I often wonder why so many guys on here have The Princess Bride listed in their top movies. The Princess Bride??? I wait for enlightenment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Forcing myself to do homework. Almost crossing the finish line, though!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

*you like short people

*you got a big vocab. I dig guys with big vocabs

*you think that we have enough in common to warrant good conversation over coffee, friendship, or the possibility of more

*you've got progressive politics. or just common sense. you don't need to be a liberal or a democrat, but you've got to believe that global warming exists, that Sarah Palin is an idiot, that the U.S. welfare system is far more complex than a "bunch of lazy people who don't want to get a job," and that immigrants should learn English so that they can make a better life for themselves here, and not because you had to repeat your coffee order two times.
