I am a young professional that lives life with a positive outlook. I work a lot, but I am trying to find a better work/play balance. I want to meet someone that will become my best friend and then grow into a 'significant-other' role. At the very least, I just want to meet some other cool people to go out to eat with, to grab a drink with, to sit around and watch TV with, \ or to go do something fun with on my day off.

I enjoy getting to know other people. I am the type to bend over backwards for my friends. I work in the hospitality industry because I feel like it's just where I belong.

When I'm not at work, I love to go to my summer house in Maine. Though I love the excitement of city life, I value being able to get away and relax, every so often.

Up in Maine, I love to spend time on my boat and I used to love riding my jet ski. It's been broken for a while and that makes me sad. When I graduated high school, I spent all of my money on it and it worked for about half a summer. Now it's just a big paperweight that serves as a reminder to think things through.

When I'm not in Maine or not working, I love to try new restaurants and foods. I am a foodie and love to be adventurous when it comes to eating. Eventually, I will open my own restaurant. That's not a pipe-dream; it will happen. For work, I open open and manage restaurants. I just haven't had the pleasure of opening my own, yet.

I'm not sure what to write here, so I figured I'd just start writing. Now, I feel like I'm rambling. I guess I'll move on to the next question, now.

Like I said before, I open and manage restaurants. It's challenging and rewarding. I love what I do. It's hard work and demands a lot of my time, but I've finally gotten to the point where I can add in some off-time, here and there. In the beginning, I worked 120+ hours per week (literally).

I want to continue what I'm doing for a little while and then start shifting into more of a concept-creating role. Most of the units that I've managed have been franchises. Because I am such a foodie, I want to shift away from restaurants that I have little to no input on the menu development.

I know that I am a great listener. People tell me that they like opening up to me because I am a good listener and I offer my honest opinions, rather than just listening.

I'm also good at finding the positive in other people, things, and situations. I'm an optimist but still realistic.

I don't hold grudges and I genuinely like to get along with all types of people.

If I had to choose one cuisine to eat for the rest of my life, it would be Japanese. I love sushi and the delicate and complex flavors of Japanese food. I've also been into weird and exotic foods, lately.

Working! I work in the hospitality industry; Friday night is my busiest night. If I'm not working, I'm probably eating a nice meal in a restaurant or hanging out with a friend or two.

I'm bi. I'm 25 and should be totally comfortable about that by now, but I'm not, yet. When you meet me, you would have no idea that I'm not totally straight I still find it hard to come out to people, but I think it's getting easier.
