I am energetic, multifaceted, and curious.
My Self-Summary
I have a BS in Psychology. I'm a life-long learner at heart and am
always interested in how things work and why. I'd planned on
Engineering originally, tutored physics and was into robotics for a
while. There are just way too many interesting subjects out there
and not enough time.
I'm looking for a man who is going places with his life, as I
intend to be.
I graduated from Furman in 08, managed a national marketing
campaign in SC- quit to move to DC, at which point the economy
fell. So I did my jury duty, worked the Annapolis Boat show, fell
into a modeling job for about 4 hours, did 2 contracts on a cruise
ship (seeing 6 continents), tried and decided against insurance
sales, babysat, dog walked, working for a fashion company based on
Divinci's concept of a perfect proportioned body and am currently
interviewing in DC. I'm pretty good at almost everything, but have
yet to specialize- making the job thing tricky. I just got my first
ever 9-5er (except it really more like 8-6) and I really don't like
work place politics and the respect based on hierarchy- its rather
de-individualizing.
Now in Spanish
Studied in Spain after 7 years in as a b plus student in school.
I've been to Spain twice, Mexico tres veces, Peru, Argentina,
Uruguay, Chile. Si no comprendas ingles, tenemos una problema. No
quiero repetir todo que lo escribo.
Now in Italian
I've been to Italy twice and took a class.
Now in French
I'm taking French classes now. I've been to Niagra Falls, Bordeaux
and Nice.
What I’m doing with my life
If life enrichment was audited, I'd fall in a very high tax
bracket. I've traveled extensively but just took a position in
Rosslyn and am trying to get an apartment in Arlington. Meanwhile,
I'm couch surfing and commuting a lot. Eventually I'll look into my
masters or PhD? we'll see
I’m really good at
horseback riding, holding a conversation, networking,
makeup/fashion, making those around me comfortable, guessing about
linguistic origins of difficult words.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been known as having a bubbly personality but I suppose on
first impression I appear poised and have great hair.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
NCIS, supertroopers, Janet Evanovich novels, Atlas Shrugged. I
really don't watch much tv and never got into sports although I
don't mind going to the occasional sporting event (especially if
tailgating is involved). I like almost all music, depends on the
mood. I love really good wine and enjoy sorta-pretty good red wine
and experimenting with food (brie, escargot, medium rare kangaroo,
taco bell grilled stufts). I don't view myself as a wine/cheese
"snob" but keep in mind Sophistication will never happen if you
aren't open to it.
The six things I could never do without
mascara, contacts, coffee... um is this a real question? I mean I'd
prefer not to do without my cell but I have when I'm abroad. My
family and friends but sometimes thats not up to you to decide.
Undies...? I mean where there is a will, theres a way and I can
prob do without almost anything if I decided to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
everything. Mostly how "things" work- such as the human mind and
behavior, mechanics, physiology, ecosystems, politics, businesses,
human interactions, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
it varies immensely. Use your imagination... Often it relates to
unwinding.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm an ENTJ... so now you know my weaknesses.
You should message me if
you are an ambitious educated go-getter, who wants everything out
of life, loves to try new things, and have fun but also has a
serious side. White, 6' +, 25-31 age range. I am relationship
material and expect to be treated as such. Hope this doesn't sound
cold, im just trying to be straight forward and clear- avoiding
misunderstandings up front. I don't do passive aggressive, so
please just call it like it is (trust that I can take it).
I'm not really into the laid back types, who make bad decisions
such as smoking, or who don't view the importance of
commitment/image in the same way i do- such as those with tattoos,
or have been mislead into thinking socialism is a good idea.
