My Self-Summary

I like meeting new people and experiencing new things. The only things I regret are the things I haven't done. I like to constantly be trying new things and have been told my standards are "incredibly too high." I make important decisions in the shower and haven't looked back on one of them. Shower time is great thinking time -- try it.

I really like where I'm at. I have great opportunities to try new things, meet new people, and do the things I do well. I've been fortunate enough to travel a fair bit & meet people with a lot of different backgrounds. I like to continually improve myself as well as motivate & help those around me to do the same.

Also, I have my moments as the grammar police. I may correct your profile. Apologies in advance. (And by all means, feel free to make edits on mine).

What I’m doing with my life

Having fun, picking up random skills, and seeing how I can apply it all. I got a scuba certification a while ago because it looked fun. Now I can hang out upside down underwater for hours (which is incredibly useful). I've fancied myself a photographer for several years now. I travel a good bit, though not as much as I once did (but I do get to head out again soon!). I used to go pretty much where ever I thought I'd get a new experience. Now I like to see what the area has to offer. In general, it's the journey, not the destination.

Also, I have one of the coolest jobs that I know of working with some of the smartest, most capable people that I know. I think I might already have my dream job.

I’m really good at

Adding small numbers. Finding the quirky aspects of mundane things. Enjoying life's little pleasures. Piloting large boats through the Panama Canal. Okay, one of those is a lie. Good luck guessing which one.

I'm also just a bit sarcastic.

I have red hair. It kinda stands out. I wondered for several years why people could people could always find me in crowds faster than I could find them.

I sing at an incredible volume while nobody is around (and the stereo is loud enough to drown me out).
