Favorite TV: Nova, South Park, Good Eats, Dogs 101, Ugly Americans,
anything documentary that isn't about WW2 or Aliens. Shows I catch
on a regular basis: Daily Show, Colbert Report, Futurama, Always
Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Arrested Development,
The Millennium Series, Lord of the Rings, Hemingway, Shakespeare,
shameless nerdy books, and frankly too many to name. I've been
trying to get through L'Morte D'Arthur, Canterbury Tales and War
and Peace for a while now but they've fallen by the wayside in
favor of more of the prior. On the excited to read list is
Huckleberry Finn and more Hemingway. I just read Cutting for Stone
and that was a wonderful and amazing read.
Movies: The Big Lebowski, Spy Game, Three Days of the Condor, The
Croupier, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Austin Powers,
Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Stripes, Roxanne, Dirty Harry, Evil Dead
II, Young Frankenstein, Way of the Gun, Sideways
I listen to a wide range of music. Most of the time my radio is on
NPR though. Other than that I like classic rock, classical and have
gotten into jazz, and blues recently for a reason I can't quite put
my finger on.
Food, are you kidding me? Its hard to find something I won't eat.
Generally, if it doesn't move away too fast I will eat it. I have
to say I'm partial to Tex-Mex but Shawarma (and yes I was on this
train before the Avengers movie, not that it discouraged me from
eating it!), curry and most things with cumin in them are amazing.
Oh, and sushi is really, REALLY good. I really want to try
Vietnamese food as I have heard wonderful things but have never had
the fortune to try. But really, anything and everything goes. I can
find something on any menu out there, and frankly, will usually try
to recreate it at home afterward.
