Some of the activities I enjoy include; golfing, boating, water skiing, hiking, walking, biking, working out, meals out (love Thai), and desserts (just no nuts in the brownies). Some of my life experiences include growing up on one of the area lakes, earning a pilot's license, and traveling to most of the 50 states.

I am a fiscal conservative and consider myself to be a Libertarian that believes in individual and economic freedoms. I am most compatible with center, right-of-center, and non-political personalities. I'll put this out front as it seems to be important to people in our age group. I have had long term relationships with liberal women and I would not rule out trying it again. In the past I never thought of this as a big problem, but with the politics of today I am a bit more skeptical...

I've been divorced a long time (over twelve years) and have two girls in the upper teens. I am active, clean, and handy around the house, non-smoker.

If you look over my profile you'll notice that I don't drink. If a drinking partner is uber important to you, we're probably not a good match. I am not "a friend of Bill's", it was a lifestyle choice that I made many years ago. If you enjoy wine with dinner or having drinks with friends it's not going to bother me and I'll partake in the festivities with a non-alcoholic beverage.
