Made of a bit of sugar and a bit of spice, I'm kind of aspiring to be Martha Stewart minus the prison time. I love baking, cooking, sewing, crafting, photography, singing and theatre.
I also love MMA and some of my favorite Saturday nights have been spent at a bar drinking beer and watching fights, I love nothing more than seeing Ronda Rousey do an arm bar and I can't wait to see more womens division fights!

Starting my life as a young professional with BA in Gender Studies and having a blast. How many other people can say that they have gotten to take classes about human sexuality and sex itself in order to complete their degree?

Attempting to catch up on TV shows that I've been told I should watch and books that I wanted to read while in college but had no free time. I'm starting with watching Breaking Bad and am open to other suggestions and reading Anthony Bourdain's books, which I've wanted to read since I saw him speak a few years back as well as Moneyball.

I'm enjoying not living up to 'feminine' ideals. In addition to my love of MMA, I am also a huge baseball fan and enjoy hockey and most other sports. I love cooking and can butcher a slab of meat and make sausage from scratch, which is supposedly a lost art. I also love getting dirty, playing in the mud and building things. Most recently I finished building a new home for my four pet ducks and love nothing more than playing with power tools.

On occasion, I can also be found sewing, knitting, baking, making pickles, singing, gardening, running events (concerts, beer festivals, the list goes on...) and doing other creative endeavorers.

As a pop culture junkie, I've been recently been thinking a lot about how Girls is quite possibly the voice of our generation. Think about it. Lena Dunham is a genius and every time I watch that show I think of how I see myself and so many of my friends in the characters on the show.

On a less serious note, I'm often thinking about what's going on in the world and trying to make sense of what I've seen lately on the internet.

Watching a fight at the bar, at a baseball game or a concert, catching up on tv, dancing, drinking, or hanging out with friends.

I was recently sent to YouTube Copyright school for having too many copyright violations due to a Digital Media class I was taking.

My Macklemore/Neil's Puppet Dreams mashup was the video that sent me there.
