My self-summary
I'll get back to this later.... Maybe. For now, I am a very odd mix of dirty Canadian hippie, highland warrior, and total nerd.
What I’m doing with my life
I am in the ass-end of a computer science degree at uOttawa, so close to freedom. Not the coolest of programs, or a fun one for that matter, but it will give me a bunch of free time and expendable income to do the things I love.
I’m really good at
Arts and crafts, of pretty much every flavour. I love working with my hands, and doing little projects every now and then really adds some creative fun to a day.

I also love to cook. Anything and everything. Nothing feels better than being able to give someone a plate/bowl/mug of their favourite comfort food just like mom made. Also we are literally made of what we eat, and life is too short to put crap food in or things that just aren't good. The best part about cooking is that I can cook something new, three meals a day and die without exploring a quarter of what the world has to offer.

Finally, playing music keeps me sane. I don't think I'll ever stop picking up new instruments either.
The first things people usually notice about me
Oh shit! You are really ginger.... No really... your hair.
/beard
The story of my life. Hell, if you're from around Ottawa (especially campus) you've probably already spotted me. In a kilt or on a longboard or something.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
Calvin and Hobbes - Bill Watterson... All of it
Dream of Eagles (series) - Jack Whyte
Wheel of Time (series) - Robert Jordan
Grimm's Fairytales - The Grimm bros.
Oryx and Crake - Margaret atwood
Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit/Silmarillion/Children of Húrin - Tolkien
**Anything by** - H.P. Lovecraft

Music:
All the folky stuff... Decemberists, Stan Rogers, Les Bottine Souriante, The McDades, Silly Wizard, The Dubliners, Solas, Mumford and Sons, even some Gordon Lightfoot.
All the metal... Especially folk, death, pirate, and powermetal.
All the dubstep and electro house... I'll dance my face off to anything that gets me moving.
All the Jazz.
No the country.
The six things I could never do without
Longboard, my hatchet, a hammock, a good pair of boots and one of my instruments.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a few beers and bowls with my brohirrim, shooting the shit about all sorts of stuff, often a passionate debate happens over something or another and that's always fun. Then maybe it's off to dance until we can't breathe and our legs are giving out... You know, the fun stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I only own a straight razor... So yeah, all my man-scaping is done a la Sweeny Todd. I toy with doom every time.
