The path I've chosen to follow is rather independent and mostly
self directed. I don't recommend this way for most people, but it
seems to have worked for me.
What I’m doing with my life
After a rewarding early apprenticeship, I spent my first career
years in the up and down corporate world. This led me to work as an
independent consultant, technical writer, and craftsman. This has
now given me the luxury of extra time that I spend with family and
