My Self-Summary

I find intelligence and actively avoiding willful ignorance to be neat. I like talking about things that matter and things that do not. Not just to spread the knowledge but to improve my understanding. A lot of times it can get geeky. Other times it can be social issues... Or it could be methods on how to survive a post apocalyptic world and if society will degenerate to a world like mad max or not. You know, anything.

I'm more of a person who goes with the flow. Let things happen as they want to happen. Making plans is not something i do very well. But once I do I stick to them.

What I’m doing with my life

I work as one of the the IT Support tech for a small wireless carrier. People seem to like me. a few of my co-workers mentioned that they were surprised when they talked to me because I can have a conversation. I work hard at not only making sure their computers run good but that the employees run good.

its interesting. It seems the silent thing works for more and more people as I get older. My guess is that the older you are the bigger chance you have of being around people who don't know when to ... not talk

anyways, my problem isn't so much running what I want to say through to many filters, its having something to say. I feel, for the most part, most people talk without saying anything.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books from David Sedaris, and others that interest me. However, I don't read much. Maybe I should change this.

I like some anime, most sci-fi, and dramas. I enjoy the more strange and off-beat movies, like Lost in Translation or The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. But I don't see myself watching them more then once. I also enjoy a good documentary that teaches me something new. I found Super Size Me entertaining. I really liked What the "bleep" do we know?.

As far as TV shows, I really really like Firefly. I've seen the entire series (about 13 eps) I'm really really trying to get into Doll house Other then that, i am watching the new Battlestar Galactica. The Stargate shows are neat. West Wing was fun. I'm not really watching that much TV anymore. Which, I guess, is a good thing.

The six things I could never do without

i could do without sameness. I'm the guy who picks something off the menu because I might NOT like something. How do you find the really good stuff if you don't take a risk?

Beyond that I could never see my self doing the same thing all the time. I always have to change things up. If I'm at the same job for a few years I got to get promoted or hired someplace else. Sometimes 5 years of experience is one year of experience 5 times.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life, universe and how we fit in it. what really matters. what doesn't matter. How to solve a problem in a new and creative way.

On a typical Friday night I am

hanging out with friends. doing typical friends stuff. movies, games, all very geeky. I love it.

When I go to the grocery store I pull the cart from the front-right side instead of pushing it from the back. strange?
