I tend to blurt out obscenities in the presence of people who don't know me. Part of it is that I don't care, part that I don't notice who is around and part for the shock value.

I promise I read acceptable literature, I just haven't in a very long time. During my first year of college I learned to rest my mind by reading the most simple, erotic, sappy, embarrassing trashy romance novels I could find. Preferably used. I don't believe in spending more than five dollars on something I can finish in an hour.

I like movies. Romantic comedies, entertaining action films, I can do heavy themes if I'm in the mood. Babel was good, but it ruined my life for a week while I was abroad. Not fun. I also really enjoy Miyazaki films.

In terms of music, I'm a singer, so I like anything I can relate to vocally. I like jazz, blues, country, rock, etc.... but I absolutely love pop punk/emo. Its kind of a guilty pleasure, a secret I tell everyone. I had a pop punk cover band for five minutes in high school, too. Some bands I like(d) then and now: The Starting Line, Fenix Tx, RxBandits, New Found Glory, Midtown. But my favorite favorite are The Ataris. The only other person I ever met in my life that LOVED The Ataris was my best friend in college. And I mean love. I don't mean you liked that silly boys of summer cover. I mean, we'd drink cheap wine and watch for shooting stars. M
