brazilian from sunny rio de janeiro, moved a year ago to new orleans and feeling like it's all pretty new in spite of all this time. still looking to meet some like-minded people and make new friends to make the cultural barrier feel less intense and more enjoyable.
believing faithfully in what i write about myself is a great way to get me wrong -- but there's a chance you can get me right. anyway, take everything you read here with a grain of salt, and you'll be fine.
i'm a 34 year old woman with a passion for my senses, which means i've experienced more than i can tell and i'm willing to try even more. that doesn't mean i'm a crazy person willing to jump on things without thinking twice, though: i am responsible and tend to be very centered.
me in a nutshell: i'm an atheist, i'm short and curvy, i'm GGG, i'm 420-friendly, i'm polyamorous, i love to go out dancing (although i'm turning into a very domestic person lately), i'm at the left side of the political spectrum, i'm trying my hand at hooping for the first time and i'm curious about belly dancing and poi, i'm a self-confessed, non-practicing crazy cat lady (meaning i am very much a cat person, even though don't have any of mine at the moment), i'm reasonably modded (meaning i have quite some tattoos and piercings) and have a style that makes me look kind of unusual to some of people, and i like bringing the interesting people i meet together whenever i can.
on the other hand, i am pretty allergic to sports fanatics, drunkards, and i hate doing the dishes - but i'll do them anyway.
i strongly believe that us humans are social animals. i do not think we can really thrive when we isolate from each other or close ourselves up. we survived as a species because of our ability to stick together and grow in spite of everything. i think we need it.
with all that said, send me a message if you think we have enough in common to make it worth it for the both of us.
