Well, I’m a ginger, so the first thing people probably notice is that I’m woefully allergic to sunlight.

Sometimes I have a huge orange beard.

I like all kinds of books. I couldn’t possibly list everything I like, but a few of my favorite authors are Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Albert Camus, Orson Scott Card, and Kurt Vonnegut. I usually read to be entertained more than to be enlightened, so I also like a lot of fantasy, horror, and speculative fiction.

As far as movies, I’ll watch just about anything. Some of my favorites are The Royal Tenenbaums, True Romance, Spirited Away, Night of the Living Dead, Gran Torino, Brick, Star Wars, and Amelie.

I listen to all kinds of music. I’m almost never without it. Some bands and artists I like are Circle Takes The Square, Pinback, Modest Mouse, Bear Vs. Shark, Explosions In The Sky, Q And Not U, Murder By Death, Cursive, At The Drive-In, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Kylesa, City Of Caterpillar, Ampere, Neutral Milk Hotel, Shai Hulud, Pg. 99, AFI up to and including Sing the Sorrow, Black Eyes, Built to Spill, Ugly Casanova, Envy, Deftones, early Thursday, Team Sleep, NOFX , older Propagandhi, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Portugal. The Man, The Get Up Kids, Rescue, Saetia, Reversal Of Man, Engine Down, Far, EELS, Foals, Sigur Ros, Grandaddy, Halos for Martyrs, The Blood Brothers, Mock Orange … I like too many bands to continue. I still listen to a lot of the stuff I liked in high school, and I’m sure most of it isn’t conventionally cool. Oh well.

I don’t think I’m picky when it comes to food, but I don’t eat meat, so I’m sure some people would disagree with that assessment. I like medium-spicy foods and just about anything with a rice base. I really like pasta as well. I eat applesauce just about every day of my life.
