I am witty, fun, and calm.
My Self-Summary
I'm a college student trying to finish my degree. I love
baseball,
music, and hanging out with my
friends when I have the time.
I moved to Texas in '02, Fort Worth specifically.
I earned my Associates in Arts degree from the county college here,
traveling for work prohibited me from picking back up at school
until recently. I transfered to UNT to pursue my degree in biology
(double major, BS in Biology, a BA in Chemistry, and a biomedical
criminalistics certificate), ultimately, to work in DNA analysis.
It's been my dream since I was in 6th grade believe it or
not!
I am currently taking the semester off from school to make some
money. I work for a retail pharmacy here in Fort Worth full time
and am a softball junkie and play whenever I can. Otherwise, I just
find anything to take my mind off of work lately.
What I’m doing with my life
I am working my way through school, trying to double major in
biology and chemistry, to hopefully, eventually work as a DNA
analyst (preferably for a crime lab).
I also play ball whenever I get the chance to.
I’m really good at
Softball and making people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
my sarcasm and easy-going attitude.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: The Last Victim. Island of the Blue Dolphins, Ender's Game,
I am Charlotte Simmons, The French Lieutenant's Woman, The Magus,
Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto, The
Collector
Movies: Poolhall Junkies, Seven, Much Ado About Nothing, Love
Actually, Sideways, Twilight, A League of Their Own, and I fall
asleep watching Pride and Prejudice just about every night.
Music: O.A.R., Marc Broussard, Will Hoge, My Chemical Romance,
Shinedown, Jem, Zac Brown Band. I have a rather ecclectic taste in
music and am into just about anything (I rather DISlike scream rock
though, It's just a headache waiting to happen)
The six things I could never do without
Family, friends, cell phone, e-mail, books, Softball
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'll be in the next 5-10 years, and when/if I'll ever be
finished with school.
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching a movie or hanging out with friends. You can normally find
us up at Fat's. Starting mid September though, I'll be playing ball
every Friday night out in NRH.
