My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Back in the Bay after a year spent in exile. I'd quite like to meet new people and make new friends.

I'm naturally a bit shy and like board games and staying in, but I'm not averse to having a dance party until 4am. There's no better place than an empty dive bar at midday, with booths to stretch out in, and space for long, winding conversations.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm finishing school and trying to make connections. I spend my spare time making music, texts, and sometimes objects.

Come weekends I'm to be found either playing soccer, playing board games, or investigating new bars. Often I just walk around.

I'm not an intense outdoorsman by any means, but a day hike with some swimming in it is one of the loveliest things you can do.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
curating, letter writing, bad dancing, loitering, karaoke, the internet, slipping out of parties early
nicknaming. I'm cautious with my nicknames, I don't throw them around willy-nilly, but when I nickname, it sticks. although i've never had a satisfactory nickname myself.
chilling

I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I speak (and eat) deliberately. I try to bring calm into my basic activities. I don't mind pauses in conversation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Barthes and Critchley, for nonfiction. My favorite fiction authors include Steinbeck, Bolaño, Pynchon, G.K. Chesterton, Tom McCarthy. Erofeev and Rich, poetry.

I'm putting together a series of movies to watch that are all about life in and around pools. Oh, and I just saw Chungking Express, which is an incredible movie.

TV: watching Lilyhammer presently. I try to keep up with Mad Men.

As for music, I've been listening to a lot of ambient music, a lot of dance music, and then a lot of contemporary classical music. No pattern, really.

Spicy food is the best food!
The six things I could never do without

Board Games,
reams of paper,
rulers, travel
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Flirting is good fun but my favorite way of interacting with people is to be super close and open with them.
