My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey =)

I'm Josh.

I'm somewhat of a dreamer. I enjoy experiencing and enjoying life in a lot of different ways. I do enjoy walks on the beach, but I'd rather do it when it's snowing, or at night when we can't see the water unless it's lapping at our toes, or early in the morning just before the sun rises.

I think life itself is romantic if you want it to be, and if you take the time to have some fun. Sure, taking a train from New York City to Oregon and then coming back the next day, just for the sake of taking a train to Oregon, might seem weird, but the experience of taking the train and being able to see everything along the way sounds like a great time.

That's probably me in a nutshell. I'm a little weird sometimes, but I enjoy myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an indie author. I write, edit, format, create cover art, market, promote, and everything in between, for my books. I help other indie authors sometimes, too, as a sort of co-operative thing.

It's a lot of fun and I enjoy it, but it's also a lot of work.

I write romance novels under a pseudonym.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think I'm really good at thinking. Is that a thing to be good at?

There's a lot of negativity in the world sometimes, but I always try to stay positive. Lots of people think of the restrictions stopping themselves from doing something, but I prefer to try to understand how to move past those restrictions.

I think anyone can do anything if they really want to and they put their minds to it and try hard enough, and I want to be one of those people.

I'm probably great at optimism and analyzing stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes are very blue.

Everyone always asks about my necklace, too. I don't know why.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'll just go through more recent things, because otherwise these lists will be too long.

Books -
Fifty Shades(all three of them) - I loved these books.
The Hunger Games(currently reading, but it's good)
Kushiel's Scion, Justice, and Mercy(not recent, but basically my all time favorite books) - I like all of the Kushiel's Legacy books, but the middle three were my favorite, and I think Imriel and Sidonie are probably the best literary couple ever.

Movies -
The Notebook(not recent, oh well) - I think this is a great movie.
The Hunger Games
Video Game High School - Freddie Wong is the best.

Shows -
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I like The Walking Dead. I have no idea why, but I enjoy The Vampire Diaries, too. I guess that's a guilty pleasure? I've been watching Dracula and Revolution lately, too. I mostly prefer longer, continuing series stories.

Music -
I don't even know. I listen to lots of different things by lots of different people. I have a personal Youtube playlist of music I listen to often if you're really curious to know more specifics.

Food -
I'm on a low carb Paleo-style diet/lifestyle. Mostly I don't eat anything with grains(no bread, no pasta), or occasionally I will but I don't like to. I try to stay away from excess sugar, too. Other than that, I eat fairly regularly.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My cats,
My computer,

I'm not sure on the last three. Maybe I'll come back to this question...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I really want to build a fully (mostly) sustainable house some day. I'm hoping to do this within the next few years, actually. And by build it, I mean I want to be the one actually building it. I'll have help, too, of course. I'd like a rain collection system, greenhouse, solar panels, and all of that, though.

I spend a large part of my day thinking about books, because it's kind of my job, but it's also one of my passions. I love reading, too.

I think about stories a lot. Stories that I've read, or stories that I want to write.

You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if you're a librarian. I've never met a librarian, but I think I would get along with one.

If you're not a librarian, that's alright, too, though.

If you read and like talking about books, you should probably message me.

If you are a secret romantic at heart, and want to do all sorts of wild and crazy things, but think that you can't, but you don't want to accept that, and you want to do them anyways, then you should message me and then we should go get coffee somewhere sometime. (Let's just start with coffee. We can do the wild and crazy things after that).

Or, if you just want to go get coffee sometime, because sometimes it's nice to just go out and meet someone new and have a cup of coffee. If you don't drink coffee, tea or milk or juice work. Or beer, I guess. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to beverages, but let's not get too crazy here. (We can be crazier the next time).
