My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I know my profile is too long, and that it reads more like a resume.
My friends already told me and had a good laugh at my expense.
Some say that if you put up too much info, there will be nothing to talk about in person... I think just the opposite, which is why my profile is unbearably long. Besides, this obsession with brevity and simplicity in this post-modern (the term makes no sense and is an oxymoron) culture sorta gets on my nerves. It betrays our laziness as a society.
'Not all those who wander are lost.'

Speaking of being lost, I just moved back from China where I've lived for the past 5 years. Next place I'd like to live for a bit is Brazil where I plan to start language schools and cultural centers, which is something I did for over a year while in Asia.

Don't mean to come off narcissistic but it seems unavoidable considering that I'm supposed to talk nice about myself. I apologize in advance. Well, here goes it...
Sooooooo, I'm an easy-going, honest, kind-hearted, spontaneous, patient, caring, deep, intuitive, open-minded and ambitious eccentric with solid travel experience, tons of stories to share, and a good grasp of who I am and what I want.
Plus, I'm not morally bankrupt. I have an active conscience of my own. In fact one of my high school mates told me the other day that I never just followed the crowd or believed what the teacher said on face value... 'You always thought for yourself.' ... were his exact words. For me, this was an enormous compliment.
This is gonna sound bad, but I think it should be said...
Uhhhhh... Most people say I'm smart. Can never be sure though.
May just be that they're really thick?... Right?
^_* oh, come on?! Don't act like you haven't met stupid before.
And yes, I'm sure quite a few of you ladies are brighter than I,
And yes, I'm perfectly alright with that. In fact, I prefer to be around people who are smarter or more knowledgable and wise than me so I get to learn. I LOVE learning. Life IS 漂亮!

Those, achhemm, are the good qualities. You judge for yourself what bad qualities I have. It's all really a matter of perspective though, isn't it? I have known some women who appreciated what I considered to be flaws, and vice versa I have appreciated the imperfections in others. Indeed it's what gives us our unique character. Though I will tell you this, that I'm not rich and if that's what ur looking for, honestly, hit the road Jack and dontcha come back no more no more no more no more!

For those of you struggling with balancing your political correctness with your sense of reality, I think women who go for men because of money are no better than _______. Now if they are in it for 'security' I have a whole other set of questions which may have to go unanswered for the time being...till we meet and I get to ask.

Now, where was I? Oh yea, teaching...
I've taught English to thousands of students, and tutor in Science, Math and Chinese. I taught at PS210 in the Bx (Hunts Point) and I've taught at a learning center for people with difficulties with traditional methods of learning, many who had several significant processing problems that we helped correct through occupational therapy and through activities that stimulate whole-brain thinking. It's a long story, I'll save it...
In my free time I write, read and blog loads and loads.
Make movies. Take pictures. Learn, dream and play, program and do website stuff, business consulting....blahdeeblah

Frequently, I find myself mentoring people, and have a tendency to be 'preachy' at times when I'm trying to make a point. (i call it being, 'teachy') To some, this might sound somewhat condescending but in reality that couldn't be further from the truth. Paradoxically I'm a great listener, once you've got my attention that is. <( ^_^ <)
I love helping others.
I know it sounds cliche, but it's true.

To reference my favorite movie...
"I am putting myself to the fullest possible use (or at least trying to but I sometimes get way distracted), which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do."
~ Hal 9000 ~

** I'm a sucker for imperfections and creative intelligence!**
No real preferences in terms of dimensions, 3 would be nice tho! I love Funny obnoxiously intelligent women who love to laugh and play, actually can appreciate the little things in life, and can role with the punches (so to speak, not actually), or, in other words, can go with the flow. I'm into strong inspired women passionate about life. A beautiful woman who knows what she wants and actually cares. (Musicians and Artists) +1
IF THIS IS YOU, +1 billion...
I love the way she moves.

Ignorance, selfish egotism, brutality, laziness, unidentifiable odors, persistent negativity and nagging. Lies and deceit. As well as The lady stash. I dunno, it's just not my thing.

I am most interested in meeting new people! Don't be shy. Believe it or not I can be your friend if you're attractive. I grew up with 3 sisters and all their friends, plus I gel real well with female energy generally, as long as its not infected with petty dramatic egotistic bullshit. That I certainly can do without. Expect the same from me. I'm an excellent friend, and a good listener.

Let's explore NYC! Or if anyone is interested, I love to be productive and creative with others so if you have an idea, |'m ALL EARS!
At any given time I have at least two. BADDUMMBUM
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Winning (an old raspy voice mumbles while exhaling a puff of smoke followed by an epileptic coughing fit)

Spending too much damn time filling out this profile,
that's for sure!

Photography, programming, film-making and teaching

I work at night. Sort of a bummer but in just 3 days of regular work I pay the bills, so it's not so bad.

I also build responsive websites as a freelance contractor.
Let me know if you need a site or a blog, I'd be happy to help!

Once a teacher, always a teacher. Applying to grad schools to get my MAT. Sucks though cuz the only thing stopping me from teaching in schools around the US is not lack of skill or quality curriculum, or even experience... it's just that blimmin piece of paper! ( > _`< )
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am constantly doubting if I am actually good at the things that I think I am good at, so I am really not sure what to put in here with full confidence.
“Most human beings have an almost infinite capacity for taking things for granted.” ― Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
But, if I were to choose, I'd say it is my ability to appreciate the little things in life that I most excel at.

Also, as long as were counting straws...
Helping others realize their potential. I am a muse.
And not to sound to00o egotistical but, adapting, learning, teaching, traveling, dreaming, driving, dancing, empathizing, acting like I know what I'm talking about, and breathing under water without a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, or SCUBA, if you will.

You'll just have to find out what else.

This is me when I was a kid...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My manners? I really don't know, Maybe my smiling eyes? ^_^
My Dave Grohl scruffiness?
Must be my intense eyes?
Then when I talk, it's gotta be my deep voice?
When people first talk to me on the phone I've been told I sound like a large black man. Lol!

I dunno!? Meet me and I'll ask u. Then I'll update my profile.
So far one of you who I met told me it was my eye color which is grey, but becomes more blue or green depending on the surroundings. Or strangely enough when I'm hung over or sick they become more blue... I still don't know why though.

You aren't a total dramatic egoist maniac?

And, if after reading all of that you still think i'm not a complete douche, and possibly are even rather intrigued, then hit me up!
Or, if you're looking for someone to explore NYC with, to go on a date with, to discuss the evils of the world with, or just chillax and watch a movie, then let me know. I'm chill.
