I am at where your sister, went- intelligent, and this is me, then.

My Self-Summary

I am dreaming, working, whisteling, improving, bicycling, recycling, cooking , working, reading, singing, writing, creating interacting, easygoing, talking, walking, meeting, laughing, picturing, watching, participating, joking, baking, inventing, listening...And I am also overly tired of internet-dating. But looking forward meeting people that actually have something to say, make me laugh a little, or a lot (and vice versa) and are kind at least in the inside. If the kindness pours on the outside too- I don't consider that as a problem.

Oh I'm such a hippie. Well, not really, but I am not so much for 9-5 work or way of life. I do spend a lot of time dreaming and sometimes, sometimes the dreams come true too. Or, I make them do that.

What I’m doing with my life

I work as a radio journalist and producer (public service of course) part-time, and also with mentally challenged young people too. Sometime saI work as a cook, veggie&organic. I also take a lot of photographs, since I cant paint or draw the way I'd like to.

I have had like a hundered jobs, I have been squatting houses, running a hostel, cooking meals for reggae-bands, working as a producer for a archive radio-channel (really the best job I've had, digging the interesting stuff from the past decades, since 1930's in the archives), as an organic gardener. I have been taking care of old people, janitor in an organic/fairtrade department store, making coffee, cleaning lady, reporter for a syndicalist-paper....

I'd like to become a doctor though. Or glass-artist.

I have a daughter that is just the grooviest person I know. She is very bright and great company too... a real grrl genius. It is fantastic to see her grow up and become the person she is, in progress. In very swedish style she lives with me part-time, part time with her dad.

I do have a cat too, she is from Finland (me too btw) and I got her on the valentines day this year. She is an old lady already and warming my feet as I type.

I’m really good at

I made a test on the Internet and the result was "You are best at everything". Maybe the test has right?

At least I am good at being creative and kind. My melody is not too much about dizzing people or making things worse.

The first things people usually notice about me

One guy from India that I met on a ferry in between my two home countries said to me "you look very intelligent, since you have a high forehead and glasses". Well thanks! They might as well notice my batman-like rain-poncho when I am biking really fast and it is rainy.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Some novels I return to often: Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, a lot of Herman Hesse, Winter's tale by Mark Helprin, Moomin-tales by Tove Jansson and a lot of kick-ass feminist litterature. I love a good story, but I read a lot of non-fiction too. I read a lot of everything, so maybe it is wrong to namedrop anything.

Favourite movies are VERY many. Love Woody Allen, but the best movie ever is Miranda Julys "Me and you and everyone we know ". Some other movie-highlights: Some like it hot, Togehter, Desperately seeking Susan, Slumdog millionaire, Trainspotting, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Science of sleep Babel, most of Spike Lee and Aki Kaurismäki. On telly: Flight of the Conchords, Six feet under and some Little Britain too.

Music...this is difficult. I just found The Magnetic Fields!!! Superb. Listen a lot of cool swedish chicks at the moment. Like Jenny Wilson, Lykke Li, Robyn and Fever ray. Feist is a great, nev love too. I am always latest with the latest!

I am vegetarian for more than 20 years. Love vietnamese, middle-eastern, my very own home cooked (I am truly a wizz in the kitchen), indian, japanese...well. Good food and a lot of vegetables I love.

The six things I could never do without

I am now thinking a scenario like in that movie with Tom Hanks on a desert island. Talking to a volley-ball, year after year... and using those ice-skates to all thinkable things. So I guess- a volley-ball would be nice if no humans or animals to bond with were close. Wilson. Oh no, Wilson...don't leave me!

That product-placement really, really did the trick!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything! I think about everything and I think propably too much and too fast. I sometimes spend a litle too much time alone and tend to answer my own guestions. I always think of future adventures too. I just came home, but would like to go away soon again.

On a typical Friday night I am

Being quite typical, I mean it is the same ole me, friday after friday.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

That I totally fancy Captain Haddock, even if he is an old alcoholic. And actually not even real. But hot! Grrrr.

You should message me if

You are artsy, down to earth, have a good heart. I'd prefer if you look like Captain Haddock with retro-glasses. If you are at least a little bit funny at least occasionally. If you didn't live with your mum until the age of 30-something. Somewhat into music and movies and arts. If you like superheroes and sundays, or at least half-sundays in bed. And it is important that there are possibilities rather than obstacles in your way, meaning- if you live on the other side of the earth- it is not and obstacle for instance. I think negativity and too much irony is so 2008.
