I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having fun and trying new things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I actually have no idea. No one has ever told me "the first thing I noticed about you was xxxxx". My friends tell me I'm outgoing and fun, but then they are my friends so what else would they say?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food: I will try anything once. As a general rule I like spicy foods and I don't really care for most Pizza (there are some exceptions, such as Pizza with Prosciutto and Figs) and Chinese Food.

Books: Where to start? I enjoy anything well written with good character development. My go-to books tend to be crime novels, but some of my all time favorite books include: Fire & Ice Series (also known as Game of Thrones), We the Living, Perdido Street Station, The Orchadist, Blue Horse Dreaming, Gone With the Wind, The Lord of the Rings, Sookie Stackhouse books, Stephanie Plum books, the Power of the dog, Destiny of the Republic, Dresden Files, Terry Pratchett in general, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Of Mice and Men - again, it might be easier to say what I do not read: Romance Novels and 50 Shades of Gray (which I tried to read, but gave up because the writing was horrid).

Music: My taste in music is as varied as my taste in food and books. In General, I tend to not care about Country Music (although there are exceptions to the rule depending on my mood. And of course Johnny Cash is one of my favorites), and while I enjoy going to the opera or a classical concert I tend to not listen to classical music at home. Bands/Musicians I'd be most likely to buy their next album without giving it a listen before hand: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Adele, Cowboy Junkies, Chris Isaak, Pink, Matisyahu, Tori Amos

TV: Dexter, Shameless, pretty much anything on HBO, Extras, American Horror, Sons Of Anarchy, It's always Sunny in Philadelphia, Law and Order, Hockey and Soccer (I'll watch any sport in the right company though). I do not watch Reality TV shows.

Movies: I haven't really been to the movies lately, so most of the movies I love are older: Pulp Fiction, Fargo, the Machinist, Memento, the Big Lebowski, The Hangover, Pineapple Express, Monster, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, anything Johnny Depp, Snatch.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Other than my friends & family? Music, Books, Exercise, Cooking, Photography, and my Phone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Honestly, after I am finished with working I am happy to just sit back, chill, and turn my brain off. But I do care about social and environmental issues.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't really have a typical night. I am just as likely to go hang out in DC, as I am to talking on the phone to a friend, watching TV, or doing chores.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm actually pretty open, so I can't think of anything that fits this description.
