My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So you say you wanna Scrabble?
So you say you have a penchant for words involving the letters X, Q, and Z?
So you say you got what it takes to break out the two letter words that burn? (FE, ZA, and QI included)

Well, you're in luck. Because we're Team Scrabble and that's what we do. We bring the Scrabble. You bring your game face. Somehow it all results in good peeps, good times and sometimes very satisfying mosh pits to Chumbawumba songs... (Sometimes, coincidentally, alcohol is involved. Sometimes, just caffeine.)

The dish: for the entire month of January (should we repeat that?) we are playing Scrabble with complete and total strangers EVERYDAY! Join the game by adding us on Twitter and finding out what our next target will be or message us to arrange a match! http://twitter.com/teamscrabble

Why are we playing Scrabble every day?

Well, for art, actually. We'll be making a book of the finished boards to be exhibited at the end of the month for Fun-A-Day (http://artclash.com/) but we also really like Scrabble. Also it's nice to play Scrabble with random strangers from random bars/cafes/sidewalks/etceteras. If you like Scrabble too, you may already be part of teamscrabble.

Disclaimer: we have come to this forum for one purpose and one purpose only: to play Scrabble with you. We're here for word play, not sexy times. That's not to say we're puritanical or anything - dirty words are welcome on the board (OF COURSE) but if you're expecting this to be a cutesy front for something other than SERIOUS RANDOM SCRABBLE ACTION, we entreat you to look elsewhere.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, for the rest of the month, we're playing Scrabble EVERY DAY. That is all you need to know. We do other things too. You can ask us about that over Scrabble, if you like. Or not.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Scrabble.
Scrabble.
Pole vaulting.
Scrabble.

But you don't have to be. We don't always win! If you've never played Scrabble before, but think this sounds like a rad idea, we're game. We'll teach you the rules. :)

If you do have a vicious 2-letter word habit, can make any 7 letter rack into a BINGO, & average higher than 300 points per 2 person game, well, that's not bad either. Ahem. Please get in touch.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That we seem to be walking into the room carrying a conspicuous red box.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
We find the dictionary to be very helpful from time to time.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
consonants
vowels
the Q
the Z
the X
friendly strangers who're game for wordplay
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
HOW ARE WE GOING TO FIND THIS MANY PEOPLE TO PLAY SCRABBLE WITH? Really, it's a bit daunting.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
You already know. I refuse to repeat myself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A good game isn't always about winning. That's not private, but it's true.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're free some night between now and January 31st & you'd like to get on our dance card! Follow us on Twitter for updates on where we're playing:

Random rooftops with scenic views

All Night Long's
The aquarium -CHECK

Got any other ideas? Hit us up. We've been going to bars A LOT. It works, but at the end of the month it would be nice if we didn't have to say that we went to 31 DIFFERENT BARS. We figure it's probably easier to set up more awesome and *slightly* less alcoholic Scrabble dates if we plan in advance. We like this idea. Drinks get expensive.
