I am curious, intelligent, and ambitious.

My Self-Summary

Hmm, what would a complete stranger want to know about me? I enjoy technology and seeing how people use and abuse it. I also like electronic music. Those two combined are where I came up with the name. I'm usually pretty quiet and observative; I prefer that to loud and obnoxious. If you ask me for my opinion, you'll get just that. So if you can't handle the truth, then don't ask.

I'm generally accepting of people, and as for the people I don't like I'll go my way and they can go theirs. Some examples of things I find unacceptable would be liars, backstabbers, and people acting with malice. So if you're a kind, honest, loyal person then we can likely be friends whether or not I agree with your political, religious, or other views. I typically shop at Fresh & Easy. So if you thought you'd meet some fabulous person doing everyday things like grocery shopping... just sayin'...

I suppose it's a bit silly to be on a dating site since my goal isn't too "hook up" for a night. But I like meeting new people, so I'm here anyway. If you like rock climbing or want to learn, hit me up. I've got the gear, but I don't climb alone on account of safety. So come with, it's fun!

Oh, und Ich sprechen klein Deutsch... aber nicht so gut. :-/ Können Sie mir helfen?

What I’m doing with my life

I'm finding this one an increasingly interesting question. What am I doing with my life? Well, I'm paying off my school loans for starters. I'm constantly learning about all sorts of things, be it how the age of something can be determined from radioactive decay, theories on psychology/sociology, or how the electronics in a vending machine work.

I’m really good at

solving problems

The first things people usually notice about me

Not sure, nobody ever came up to me and said "I couldn't help but notice that you have red hair." or anything of the sort. I'd guess it would be my hair though. Either that or my height, I'm 6'3". When we meet that can, just blurt out the first thing you notice and then I'll be able to give a better answer here.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Most of the stuff I read is online, and most are not books.

V for Vendetta, Equilibrium, Fight Club, Revolver, Eagle Eye, A Clockwork Orange, American Psycho, Pulp Fiction, etcetera.

Happy hardcore, Hardstyle, Gabber, Rock/Industrial, and plenty more. Nine Inch Nails ranks high in my book. I'll refrain from using the word "eclectic" since that seems to be the most cliché word of the year.

Chipotle's Mexican Grill rocks! I don't eat meat, so if you have any recommendations for good vegetarian food, let me know. I also try to eat reasonably healthy, so not much deep fried food either. But it's not like I avoid french fries like the plauge, I'd just prefer something else, that's all. I do eat some fish now too (cold water like salmon, tuna, cod, etc.). But just because I don't chow down on burgers means I'm going to tell others what they can or should eat.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The problems facing humanity, social justice, things related to psychology like whether or not humans can overcome their primal instincts and make decisions based on logic rather than emotion. I'd say that last one is possible if things are presented in an unbaised manner, but if emotions are intentionally stirred up, it just goes back to Lord of the Flies (at least for the vast majority of people).

More telling is that I don't spend a lot of time thinking about what some celebrity is doing or whether or not a sports team is winning/losing.

On a typical Friday night I am

My Friday night's aren't typical (nor are Saturday nights for that matter). I don't have a routine that I follow. I'm not much into the clubs and bar scene. I love music and have no problem with drinking, but I'd rather be doing something else on a Friday night. Hanging out with friends, shooting pool, movies, and other typical things. Daytime is better, then we can go rock climbing, hiking/exploring, work on fun projects, and other tomfoolery. Yeah, that's right, I use words like "tomfoolery".

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I can't recall anyone ever saying I'm not socially awkward. But I'd rather be my awkward self than pretend to be someone else in order to fit in. On a somewhat related note, I'm more or less incapable of small talk. I speak when I have something worth saying, not to avoid [the awkward] silence.
