My self-summary
Ha, wow I sure chose a brilliant username didn't I? I only lived in NJ for 1.5 years, before the Shore and the Real Housewives preceded Kevin Smith movies on the Jersey rep. Fist pumping...no sir I don't like it.

I'm the creative type, currently freelancing with some animation/video work and juggling a few projects on the side. I lived in NY and Seattle most of my life. The East coast gave me a cold blooded sense of humor (important!), and the Northwest taught me how to appreciate good, original music. What I'm getting at is if you're anything like Carrie Brownstein from Portlandia, I'm yours. Oh right, but you have to be into guys.

Otherwise I do a weekly satirical webcomic that's seen some press on top of some published comedy writing. In other words I'm in that transitional phase of doing less mindless day job, and more personal ambition pursuing. Financially independent since high school, it's adventure time!
What I’m doing with my life
Didn't I just...yeah I think I...yup.
I’m really good at
Moving and shaking, Seinfeld like conversation, finding shoegazey chords on guitar, running from the fat kid I once was (or jogging), calling my parents regularly, interviews, witty status updates, this one dance move where it looks like I'm doing the moonwalk sideways.
The first things people usually notice about me
The half Asian eyes, the own personal style, the never taking myself too seriously
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: History and non-fiction for some time now, but I wouldn't call myself a bookworm. I keep the graphic novels in rotation, currently on Celebrated Summer (impulse buy, love Husker Du).
Movies & Shows: Comedy, documentaries, foreign films, classics and indie flicks (<3 The Roxie). Another Big Lebowski and How I Met Your Mother fan here. Freaks and Geeks should've had a longer run, and British comedy recommendations like IT Crowd are always welcome!
Music: Big music fan and I check for good live shows pretty regularly. I've been going back to dream pop a lot but mostly indie rock, new wave, jazz and underground hip hop. Some recent bands I like are Twin Shadow, Best Coast and Washed Out. Some old ones are The Ocean Blue, Guided By Voices and Django Reinhardt.
PODCASTS, love them! Judge John Hodgman, WTF w/ Marc Maron, Nerdist, Comedy Bang Bang, and some NPR and This American Life: all great to listen to while sketching and inking the webcomic.
The six things I could never do without
Awesome people, comedy, guitar breaks, escaping the urban landscape, diversity, garlic
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Culture, East and West Coast comparisons, family, saying a lot with a little in a funny way, or as Charlie Brown once said: "Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?' then a voice says to me, 'This is going to take more than one night.'"
On a typical Friday night I am
With friends, at a gallery opening, concert, having a pint, watching something on Netflix or the Cinecave at Lost Weekend Video, or getting out of the city and chillin in the presence of trees.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Alright here goes...sometimes I go on OKcupid.
