I am easygoing, nice, and loyal.

My Self-Summary

I am pretty easygoing and not exactly the kind of person that is good at going on about himself, especially on a site like this. I mean, we do all of these questions, so you think this was kind of unnecessary, right?

What I’m doing with my life

Just going to school for now. Nothing really too important. I'm pretty good at school, and I like it, but I'm not exactly setting out to make my first million before thirty or something.

I’m really good at

Writing. Reading, too. I really hate this question. I could have lied a little and made myself sound better ("I'm a really amazing friend!") but I don't know how good I am at stuff, generally, so the only (consistent) thing I've ever got compliments on is my writing.

Maybe I suck, but I doubt it.

The first things people usually notice about me

It depends, actually. I have a tendency at my work to look really angry, but that's because it's work. Generally, people notice my eyes. They are nothing too special, and not even colorful (brown), but people always mention them.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorites in all of these categories are constantly shifting. It's not that I like everything, but it's really hard to pinpoint any one thing. I don't know what this says about me, but I could more easily tell you my least favorite in each category.

Generally speaking, I read more non-fiction than fiction, but that's not a personal choice - I just rarely read any fiction so amazing that it gets me going. As far as pop fiction, I guess Stephen King and Anne Rice (pre 1994) is decent enough. I used to read fantasy books, but that was a long time ago and was more to fit in with the nerds in my school. (That's kind of sad or kind of funny, now that I think about it.)

I like a lot of movies suggested me, having zero taste in movies and liking everything. Problem is I'm always behind. I really like fast moving plots, though - that's what movies are good for, I think, something quick and dirty. (A lot of film fans get really angry at this.)

I like mostly generic rock/alternative music. I'm open to new experiences musically. I always wished I was cool enough to like indie, but you know. All of my cool friends into that stuff are too indie to share it beyond name-dropping, so I never got a chance.

And food? I guess Japanese food, but Italian food is close (for entirely different reasons).

The six things I could never do without

The computer, my cell phone, a book, my friends, a coke, and some sort of MP3 player.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Where I'm going, what's the meaning behind it all, what the point is to life. I also have a terrible tendency to imagine myself in bizarre-yet-awesome situations, like being a cliff diver or (the more conventional) rock star. It's a pretty immature activity.

On a typical Friday night I am

Actually, hanging out at home with my friends. On more rare occasions, at a bar with friends, but never been too into that kind of stuff. I'm pretty relaxed just hanging out with a small group.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm bisexual, a kind-of-secret a lot of people know, if you know what I mean. Also, sex doesn't exactly SCARE me, but the hypochondriac in me always goes a little crazy and wonders if I'm picking up some disease or something anytime I engage in it, no matter how safe I am.

You should message me if

Please don't be too weird, because I've been having bad experiences with weird people. But if you're that kind of cool, "I like to watch Juno and read Fight Club" kind of weird, I don't mind too much. Also, if I just sound like someone to talk to, message me. Trust me: I'm not exactly the kind of person who gets the wrong idea about anyone who is nice to me and just wants to talk.
