I am honest, unpredictable, and worth knowing.

My Self-Summary

I have a goofy and slightly-sarcastic sense of humor (fair warning) and like to hang out with people that don't take themselves too seriously. I noticed, a while back, that most of my friends are younger than me (and the rest are young at heart) this was not a conscious decision on my part but interesting to note. Life's too short not to have fun and you have to be able to laugh at yourself (believe me there are plenty of opportunities).

Let's see, things that I like doing are going to stand-up comedy shows (Carlos Mencia and the terrorists- ROFLMAO), live music shows, karaoke (my friend rocks!, me..not so much), having cook-outs, etc. I found a dueling-piano bar downtown and if you haven't been- I HIGHLY recommend it! Camping is fun (love a campfire, bonfires are cool too). Watching sports is more of a social event for me (football parties, YAY!!) happened upon a game of rugby recently and that was pretty awesome but UFC can really get my adrenaline going. Caught a performance of 'Wicked' at TPAC and have plans to see the Rockettes at Opryland Hotel this month. Hanging out with friends having a marathon game of Uno Attack is pretty sweet too, just have fun with what you are doing!

I don't think you always have to be on-the-go to have a good time, but did you ever notice that the people that just sit on the couch all the time are the ones that look old? Think about it!

I'm always up for taking weekend trips, do you know any good spots?

What I’m doing with my life

I am a work in progress (aren't we all?). I am a mother to 2 teenagers and work as an admin asst for a company in Madison.

Working on the "bucket list" - not so much of a list really, just when new opportunities happen or inspiration hits, I try to take advantage. I do not ever want to look back and say 'Man, I wish I would've!!!'.

Most focused right now on the new workout routine I have started, trying to work on definition. This time change has really messed me up, I hate that it is dark when I get off work, makes you feel more tired - really having to force myself to do it when I get home (I've laid out some but plan to get back on track)

I don't pretend to have all the answers (if I had them then I wouldn't be here, huh?), but I am trying and if you are up for the challenge, let me know.

I’m really good at

Dropping pop-culture references that fit the given situation or conversation. Can usually relate everything to an episode of Friends or Seinfeld. Glee is turning out to be a gold mine for quotes as well.

I am also really good at kissing. One of my favorite past-times (there really is an art to it)

I possess an uncanny ability to see the bright side of most anything, I don't let anything bring me down (at least not for long) I am one of the most positive people you will meet.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes or my legs.
Well - that's what I get told and would really hate to argue, LOL

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't have a favorite movie or music because it just depends on the mood I'm in at the moment. I'm a girl and I'm ruled by my emotions-- deal with it!(smile)

I spend most of my time on 102.9 The BUZZ and the last CDs I bought were Eminem and Three Days Grace.

I like action movies the best with romantic-comedies a close second. Horror movies, if they are done right, can scare the daylights out of me and , if they are campy enough, make me laugh. I hate when a movie makes me cry, I watch them to be taken to another place for 2 hours, I don't want to feel worse when it's over then when it started!!

I have been taken in by the 'Twilight' series also. The books (have read them all) and the movie. Would love to go to the midnight release for 'New Moon', but don't think I could handle all the screaming, giggly teenage girls, so I will wait (maybe).

My friend and I can sing along with all the songs in 'Grease'! and usually do LOUDLY! (I am not ashamed by any part of this answer- haha)

I have been known to get sucked in by TV show marathons, by accident always, by the time I realize it is a marathon it is already too late. Lost an entire day to The Real World:Las Vegas (wtf?). And I don't even really like Project Runway but I had a burning desire to see what drama would unfold (haha..get it?..unfold) next...

Food is also hard to have a favorite - I don't like to limit myself... I have been on a seafood kick here lately.

The six things I could never do without

#1...Laughter (the absolute best medicine)
#2...Toilet Paper (I am slightly fanatical in my need to never run out)
#3...My children (no explanation needed)
#4...Cheese(Although in my quest for better health this is not considered a body-friendly food, it can not be eliminated)
#5...My sense of adventure (It would be tragic to ever lose this)
#6...Reeses Peanut Butter Cups (Recently saw this on another profile and could not believe that I had totally forgotten the awesome-ness of this treat)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My thoughts run amuk (amuk! amuk! amuk!) most of the time. I start with one thought and it moves on from there (quite random actually) Sometimes this happens to me in conversation also, most of my friends are used to this and are quite adept at following the trail. This makes me sound flaky but I assure you- I am not.

Did you catch the nod to 'Hocus Pocus' in that?

On a typical Friday night I am

There is no typical, life ebbs and flows. At home or out to dinner with friends. Karaoke or bowling isn't out of the question either. Depends on what's going on. My life is pretty flexible-- usually up for anything.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't make my bed (I see no point since I just get back in it) and I know way more celebrity gossip than is necessary.

You should message me if

You are still in touch with your inner child...and you let him out to play occasionally (no fun being a grown-up all the time!).
You understand that the best relationships start as friendships. Seduce my mind and... well- you know the rest.

There is really no special set of criteria I can list here (that would be idiotic). Sexy is an attitude and everyone brings something different to the table, it's all about how we mesh. Jeez- I even feel like an idiot trying to explain it, lol.

But most importantly- if you have visited my page...(think of it as an experiment, I'd like to know why you stopped by but didn't feel a connection)
