My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love to laugh. My nickname here... Teflon Duck is something I
came up with a couple years ago. It may sound silly but I had a lot
of drama in my life so I adopted a philosophy... I was thinking
"Like water off a duck's back" Well if water doesn't stick to a
duck... then what if we coated the duck in teflon... then nothing
would stick. The idea though is don't let anything negative stick
when it hits you... just let it roll off. And if you want something
good to stick, then take it inside to your heart.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
It is only with hindsight that one can see clearly.
What's essential is invisible to the eye.
Right now i just go where God sends me. That might sound a lot crazier than the reality of it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Massage. Mostly back and scalp... and yeah I'm serious... I
was gifted with some intuitive hands which I am thankful for. They even earned me a scholarship back in college!
I'm also a BASF er. I don't make the things... I just make 'em better. And I'm not too shabby at making up songs... mostly based on existing songs but not always parodies. So I can write the songs I just can't sing them. I recently wrote a happy birthday song to my niece during the course of the dinner to the tune of "Rawhide".
Making connections between ideas.
I get to add cooking now.
Seeing things differently.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Heck if I know. If I'm laughing then I'd probably say my laugh.. I love to laugh. The sides of my mouth upturn into a natural grin. My eyes usually look like I'm thinking about something.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The Bible for teaching me non judgment and love, Stranger in a Strange Land for teaching me how to accept and cherish others. Odd Thomas(almost anything Koontz since he is not so much about horror and suspense as he is about hope, love and good food). To be fair almost any best selling author relies on the ability to describe a good meal.
Movie: Time travelling romantics like Somewhere in Time, Groundhog Day, About Time.
The Fifth Element... except for the high pitched screaming.
Miller's Crossing, Pulp Fiction, The Wedding Singer, Moulin Rouge(if it is cut off by chapter 32), Amelie, La Femme Nikita(original french, subtitled),Fight Club, 50 first dates,
Mozart and the Whale. Her.

Shows: I used to be a TV addict... I've mostly stopped watching.
What I used to watch regularly and may watch again if I get the
series on dvd and just have a day to marathon watch: How I met your
mother, the Big Bang Theory, White Collar, Leverage, The Walking
Dead, Mad Men, Shameless, Californication, Weeds, Blue Bloods,
almost anything CSI or L&O, Community, 30 Rock, Castle, DWTS,
Rizzoli & Isles, NCIS, Burn Notice. Buffy, Angel, Firefly,
Bones, AHS. Did I mention I used to be a hermit? Now I rarely get more than an hour to watch TV.

Music: The favorite changes daily as to how I feel... I don't
discount any type of music. I like to play Bolero in my head when
I'm doing a task. Am I the only one that wakes up with music in
their head?
Janelle Monae
Kate Bush, Bjork, Bach, Garbage, Johnny Cash, James Durbin and almost any music that has actual emotion behind it. I just found something out... I don't do empty music.

Food: Tamales covered in queso, ribs that are messy, lasagna that
has been made with red wine in the sauce and left overnight in the
fridge. Honey Nut Cheerios. Fish. Mac n Cheese. Curry. My staples are comfort foods BUT I'd be willing to explore the wide world of other cuisines with someone. I mean, if I'm going to eat a pepper that lights my hairs on fire and makes me sweat almost every drop of water out of my body there better be somebody there I love to laugh and take pictures.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My own personal Jesus.
Thought (I do not think..therefore I'm not).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the heck I can learn from what just happened.
my biggest dream is to find someone who wants to go to sleep smiling at each other.
OK that and and how to generate atmosphere on a planet so as to save this one and help colonize others.
Why people flip over cupcakes when pie is clearly where it's at.
The power of saying yes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the gym or at home listening to something like a TED talk. _________.
Casting the actors to the new book I'm reading.

Not starting any new business or setting sail.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would like a pair of shoes in my size that have pop out roller skate wheels.
i like to fall asleep to a happy thought.
