The Bible, Stranger in a Strange Land. Odd Thomas(almost anything
Koontz since he is not so much about horror and suspense as he is
about hope, love and good food). To be fair almost any best selling
author relies on the ability to describe a good meal.
Movie: The Fifth Element... except for the high pitched
Miller's Crossing, Pulp Fiction, The Wedding Singer, Moulin
(if it is cut off by chapter 32), Amelie, La Femme Nikita(original
french, subtitled),Fight Club, 50 first dates,
Shows: I used to be a TV addict... I've mostly stopped
What I used to watch regularly and may watch again if I get
series on dvd and just have a day to marathon watch: How I met
mother, the Big Bang Theory, White Collar, Leverage, The
Dead, Mad Men, Shameless, Californication, Weeds, Blue
almost anything CSI or L&O, Community, 30 Rock, Castle,
Rizzoli & Isles, NCIS, Burn Notice. Buffy, Angel,
Bones. Did I mention I used to be a hermit? Now I rarely get
more than an hour to watch TV.
Music: The favorite changes daily as to how I feel... I don't
discount any type of music. I like to play Bolero in my head
I'm doing a task. Am I the only one that wakes up with music
Kate Bush, Bjork, Bach, Garbage, Johnny Cash, James Durbin and
almost any music that has actual emotion behind it. I just found
something out... I don't do empty music.
Food: Tamales covered in queso, ribs that are messy, lasagna
has been made with red wine in the sauce and left overnight in
fridge. Honey Nut Cheerios. Fish. Mac n Cheese. Curry. My staples
are comfort foods BUT I'd be willing to explore the wide world of
other cuisines with someone. I mean, if I'm going to eat a pepper
that lights my hairs on fire and makes me sweat almost every drop
of water out of my body there better be somebody there I love to
laugh and take pictures.
