My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a humble guy with many interests and hobbies. I have high hopes and big dreams... I want to make a difference!

I'm the antithesis of the couch potato. I'm really interested in and involved with engineering and technology, but also enjoy the arts, theatre, sports (esp. Tennis), going to the gym, community service, and the great outdoors!

I also enjoy spending time with friends, partying, and meeting people! I very highly value learning and education and interacting with interesting, passionate people!

I'm a practical environmentalist and I do what I can to reduce my impact on the environment as much as possible. I have been "green" since way before "being green" was cool, and I can prove it!

I'm not really interested in pop culture, celebrities, or professional sports. I try to avoid drama and gossip because I'm highly allergic to them.

I not a fan of mindless consumerism. I can't take people who live through their material possessions seriously, and I will not hesitate to call you out on it =] I maintain a list of "evil" corporations, because I can.

I'm a PC but I don't run Windows. Microsoft can suck it! While we're at it, Apple can also suck it! **Bonus points if you guess my OS. Even more bonus points if you actually use my OS.

I am active, passionate, and involved
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I do everything I can to keep my mind sharp and my body fit, and to generally better myself. I'm pretty intense about everything I do and I believe that doing things half-assed is a waste of time.

I'm currently trying to find the time to make all of my dreams and goals become realities. I'm currently spending a lot of time getting a high-tech start-up company off the ground. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and I'm really excited to be starting my first company!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Designing, building, and fixing things... especially anything that involves electricity. Often I choose to be my own car mechanic, plumber, electrician, general contractor, and computer specialist, among other things. I love the challenge.

I'm also really good at setting goals for myself and not giving up. Lastly, I'm the 'nice' guy who always comes through for people. I'm not a flake; I fulfill my promises, and I'm (almost) never late.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I use a lot of exclamation marks!!!

Movies:

Some favorites include Clue, Noises Off, The Science of Sleep, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Social Network, Donnie Darko, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

TV:

I don't watch much TV. The only TV shows I watch with some regularity are The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, Futurama, and South Park.

Music:

I can tolerate most music (exceptions: Most Rap, Most Screamo). The majority of my music is Indie, Alternative, Alt. Rock, and similar.

I'm a big fan of the Postal Service, "Give Up" remains my favorite album of all time. I have a hard time picking "favorite bands". I really like Bayside, Dashboard Confessional, The Format, John Vanderslice, Death Cab for Cutie, Brand New, Coldplay, Green Day, Rilo Kiley, CAKE, Motion City Soundtrack, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Shins, Alkaline Trio, The New Pornographers, Weezer, Guster, The Killers, Owl City, Placebo, Unwritten Law, Prozzak, etc ...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, Family, Good health, Electricity, Computers, the Internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I'll contain myself when I finally meet someone who enjoys shopping at hardware stores as much as I do...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing one or more of: studying, socializing, relaxing, partying, working, sleeping, building something, developing a business plan.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One of my new year's resolutions 4 years ago was to start going to the gym to trade in some "skinny" for some "ripped." I've been going to the gym 3 times a week since then. My strength, endurance, self-image, and overall health have improved, and I couldn't be happier about that! The gym has sort of become my "meditation" place, believe it or not.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are a real person, you are around my age, you are capable of participating in intelligent conversation, and you are active and in good shape.

There is a big difference between a conversation and a comment. I generally respond to the former and not the latter. Lolspeak is entertaining but it's not a valid form of communication. kthxbai.

I don't mean to sound intimidating... because I'm generally very approachable and easy to talk to. I just have well-defined ideas of what I like and what I don't. =]
