My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So.. I have decided its time to update this profile... old words seem... like old words... though parts are still fresh. Maybe I'll just update and freshen them up.

Ok, so I'm just a man who has a strong heart and an inquisitive mind. I love this damn crazy beautiful world. I feel strong sympathies towards those who are genuine and open in the way they see the world. I love the music of the way things happen Now.. as time flows by us and offers us each the treasures of life ... if we choose to be aware of it. I try to listen to that as much as I can. There is so MUCH in daily experience to love and take notice of. Its so easy to lose sight of that.
I LOVE playing music .. keys . basses and more recently the clawhammer banjo and the fiddle have become near obsessions. I would love to find a friend to play with.... Or at least listen and exult in the magnificence of what we are hearing.
I love discussion. I love the very music of discussion... of exchanging thoughts and ideas and questions about life and the universe and all of the amazing mysteries before us. I want to rejoice in it... and I LOVE and admire people who love to rejoice in it too.

I am Musical, philosophical, and insightful. I make no demands.. I work hard to enjoy the moment - where and whenever it is... I don't want to honestly have any agenda beyond that...

I'm Obsequious and clairvoyant tooo...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am working to keep the wheel going... Doing computer things. But my focus is on the sheer delight of playing music... On its own terms... I do not have expectations - other that I get a huge kick out of witnessing my own growth and gradual refinement of my ear. That is what I am doing with my life. For a vast amount of people that may not be enough, but it brings me happiness. There is something noble in this pursuit that I could never explain in words.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Chasing the spirit that drives whatever I am inside. Does that make any sense? I like to put words together... and musical expressions.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People notice... whatever they need to notice. I do not spend a lot of time worrying about what others notice... That is their private world... I do not need to interfere.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Nearly everything I had on this list... was terribly dated.. so I will update:

It's dynamic and changes all the time... Right now? Watching a captivating French TV series.. "The Returned" - Very mysterious, and symbolic... dreamlike - And .. well french... I have no idea where it's going.. Love that too! I love how much happens without a need for dialogue.

Still very much in love with "Fiddle music"... Old time Southern, Montreal, Don't know how to describe why this music just seems like an endless source of delight and surprises. 10 years ago.. I NEVER imagined I would find myself in this musical love affair I am in now.

My personal Academy award winner this year was "Nebraska".. I thought it was a brilliant movie.

Food.. Oh dear... Sushi... and I love delicious Asian soups! And Yogurt... For some reason I am loving Bagels and cream cheese for some reason. REALLY Good salads! Yum!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Love, Music and learning, contemplation, beauty and the sacred power of nature, humor, sensuality.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, the world, computer systems (when at my job) , Music in all of its glory - how it moves me beyond words and gives more than I think possible to give back, and Dreams - (both during sleep and the manifestation of the dreaming body while awake). How beautiful people are... and - yes I'll admit it. I can't deny that i think about death. (I have a hard time believing that anyone really doesn't think about it on some level!). And last but not least Every question is backed by an enormous "Why?" What IS all this?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out - in search of .. ahem.. usually sushi. I would love to find a sushi companion! Often I am playing with my banjo or my fiddle... trying to find a my way around a tune I want to learn.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am human, I am alone and there are some things I wish I understood more about human nature - The blessings and the curses.... especially my own. I want to be completely happy with where it is... but not yet. I am slouching toward Bethlehem and I am drawn toward those who can admit the same.

Oh... and i can wiggle my ears.
