My life is full and busy but I miss having a special someone to share these experiences with!

A bit about me.

I am an educated, confident woman who is also a dancer at heart. I hope you can tell from my photos that I am quite comfortable in evening wear as well as casual jeans or sundress. I do prefer a feminine look, regardless of style.

Fitness has always been part of my daily routine. I recently started biking and take dance classes twice a week to stay toned. Hiking in the redwoods is also very high on my list of best places to be on the weekend.

When I’m not dancing, the artist in me gets out, from time to time, to visit museums, art galleries, attend the ballet or theater.

As a curious person, I usually have questions and enjoy learning something new. Currently, I'm interested in the elements of elegant visual presentatio.

I am from the midwest which breeds a certain type of individual who is practical, forthright and a survivor. Garrison Keillor does a wonderful job describing through stories and humor the midwestern culture. I am grateful for being raised with these values and also to have escaped the harsh winters. ;)

And I've already mentioned the dancing. I try to stay in shape other ways so I don't injure myself dancing. I could use a partner for hiking or biking or jogging to stay fit in between dance classes. Anyone interested in joining me?

Planning. That sounds so dull and boring but it is true. I can use this skill to create fun for us - which isn't boring at all.

People frequently ask if I was a dancer. I guess your body never quite forgets the training!

I love a good detective novel, music that you can dance to, food that fills your mouth with flavor, texture and scent.

Shows that I find entertaining are Burn Notice, House, Glee and old Friends episodes. And Star Trek, of course.

After offering up an anecdote from my life, people often say "you should write a book!". This has happened so often that I'm beginning to wonder if it is true. Could I write a book?

On Friday I usually want to relax and unwind so I can go into the weekend feeling great.
