I consider myself an optimist; I always look for the good in people and see the positive in any given situation.

I believe in being passionate about everything you do in life. I know this is not always possible in reality but I feel every effort should be made to pursue one's dream. At the very least you can say you tried and learnt from that process. Fear of failure is never a good reason.

As a person and an artiste, I would gladly experience pain, sorrow and disappointment if I can also experience true joy, happiness and passion. Settling for lukewarm contentment is never enough.

Voices with that element of vulnerability and a strong sense of yearning really attract me. Voices like Karen Carpenter and Eva Cassidy for example.

Haunting songs of pain, loss and yearning move me intensely; Des'ree's I'm Kissing You, Celine Dion's The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Sarah McLachlan's Angel, Madonna's This Used to be my Playground and Frozen, Jewel's Foolish Games, Kylie Minogue's Confide in Me, George Michael's I Can't Make You Love Me, Mariah Carey's My All, Adele's Someone Like You, Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart, Eva Cassidy's Fields of Gold, Richard Marx's Hazard.
