I am currently living in Korea. I am fully led by my wanderlust these days. I like yoga, hiking, music, and pretending i can bake. Its kind of hard out here where my main cooking implement is a toaster oven slightly bigger than a box of saltines.

Anything else you want to know just ask.

Books- Choke is my favorite book. Mostly because it got me to appreciate reading again. Confederacy of Dunces and The Road happen to be a couple of my recent favorites. As for non-fiction, any book about Philosophy, Psychology or World Religion isn't too far from my list.

Movies- I love a good movie...or even really bad ones. The Wrestler was surprisingly interesting. Ghost Town had Ricky Gervais so you know I enjoyed it. True Stories has John Goodman singing to David Byrne. Persepolis is an interesting take on a graphic novel and was perhaps the first non-Pixar/Disney movie to win an oscar for animation in the last 100 years. (edit: nope. It was only nominated. It lost to Ratatouille). Dumb and Dumber left an indelible mark on my life and (mis)shaped my childhood. My favorites may still be I Heart Huckabees and Adaptation

Music- I don't want to be one of those people who says "I like all types of music." And listing everything i like would be too difficult without seeming trite, pretentious, or somewhere in between, If you want to know, ask. I will say, though, K-pop has been slowly taking root in my heart. Leave it to a room full of 4th graders endlessly singing already infectious choruses all day to wear down your resistance. For those of you who don't know, that includes such acts as Wondergirls, Big Bang, and Rain.

Food-My favorite food of all time is and always will be the delicious treat known as the cookie. Chocolate chip cookies to be exact. If I ever outgrow this, I will have become too old. Otherwise, Mexican food and Indian food are my styles of food.. Fortunately you can find really competent mexican and indian food out here in korea. Unfortunately, still haven't found a cookie like dad used to make.

the ability to laugh (especially at myself)

Whatever the night brings me. I like to explore new areas, hang out with friends, do something active, etc. But I am also quite content to curl up with a good book or lay about watching a movie.

In 1st grade, I tried to open a spy school... Wow. If I am willing to give up that information so easily, no wonder my Spy school tanked.
