My Self-Summary
I am a funny, yet sometimes serious, average guy suffering from
very minor self-diagnosed OCD with a propensity to write in run-on
sentences. My sister, an English professor, would not be pleased.
What I’m doing with my life
I have been asked by many people what it is that I do. I have yet
to give a satisfactory answer. This either speaks to the complexity
of my job or to the fact that I don't really do much work there.
Outside of work I enjoy movies, videogames, eating out, reading,
watching sports, and playing fantasy sports (still looking to break
.500 in football or baseball).
I’m really good at
Procrastinating, Super Mario Bros. 3, doodling in my notepad at
work, and using the microwave.
The first things people usually notice about me
People at work seem to notice when I need to shave, that my shirt
is wrinkled, or that my shoes are scuffed.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books (Running with Scissors, Lord of the Rings, anything by John
Grisham or Dr. Seuss). Movies (Igby goes Down, Gladiator, A
Beautiful Mind, Thirteen, Fight Club, Rounders, Swingers). Music
(Classical, 90's grunge rock, rap, techno, jazz). Food (Cereal, pop
tarts, ice cream, chocolate, steak and potatoes).
The six things I could never do without
Black coffee, alarm clock, microwave, car, cereal, movie trailers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Work (unfortunately), my family, whether what I'm about to say is
crossing the line.
On a typical Friday night I am
Tired from a week of work. I like watching sports if something is
on, but am content to take it easy and get some sleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I already admitted that I'm OCD, a procrastinator, sometimes
unkempt at work, and can't cook. I'm very open, just ask and I'll
tell you.
