My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I seek fairness, kindness, humor, and ideas from others, not always in that order.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love writing prose and poetry. I'm editing a lot of older writing this year and planning/hoping to publish something by the end of 2015. Can't decide between newer prose projects or older poetry. Doesn't help that I don't take myself very seriously most days.

Doodling, taking walks.

I recently moved to the Triangle, but in theory I still like spending my evenings with company, even if part of the conceit was to be more of a hermit.

I work an intense and fulfilling role for a tech company. Not sure if my profession is best described as customer service, technical support, or listening to music 10 hours a day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Near-merciless teasing, mothering, encouragement, electronics. After nearly thirty years of it being my main physical activity, I'm also very pedestrian.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
What are you, some kind of weirdo? I have green eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I just switch these around every once in a while. I grew up in an age of information, so it's a little difficult to pick favorites.

Books: Narcissus and Goldmund, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, Areas of My Expertise.

Movies: Harvey, Dead Man, Akira, The Fall.

Shows: I Claudius, Stella, Twin Peaks, Adventure Time, Downton Abbey.

Music: Joanna Newsom, Aesop Rock, Tool.

Food: Food, like sleep, is a chore that I try my best to enjoy. Unless I'm really, really hungry, then I can't imagine anything better. Stupid beast.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Language
2. Tools.
3. Ideas, which are a kind of language-involved tool, I think.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything. Everything that crosses my path. Also, crows.
