I am an intelligent, ornery, fun-loving and caring woman. I love being tall. I have been divorced and a single mom for many years. I was the neighborhood mom with kids running in and out. I have one grown son and a granddaughter that means the world to me. My daily companion and confidante is a Labrador/golden retriever.

I am a writer. I have worked as a legal secretary, as a journalist/photojournalist, and as a marketing director.

I love photolgraphy. but I still I have an old SLR camera that uses film. I know I need to fix that. I don't have many photos of myself, because I take most of them.

I can do a lot of things, not all well.

I love to travel.

I love to laugh, and I have a wicked sense of humor.

I'm still working on that. I want to laugh with as many people as possible.

reading, writing and arithmetic; cooking, baking and sewing. I have an artistic "eye" for color and photography.

I like books by Stephen King, Ann Rice, Christopher Rice, Nelson DeMille, Michael Connelly, Diana Gabaldon, Phillippa Gregory, Jodi Picoult, Michael Crichton, and more. I am open to all kinds of fiction.

I like horror (but not gore) , suspense, superhero, romantic comedies, action, all kinds of movies. I am stuck in the '70s and love classic rock, Michael Jackson, some '80s and '90s music, jazz, blues, but not much country. I'm a big fan of NCIS, Dexter, Weeds, Castle, Suits, Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, Bones.

I like to play cards: Spades, Pinochle, Rummy, Pitch(?)... I like board games: Scrabble, Settlers of Cattan...

I like Mexican, Italian, cheeseburgers, Thanksgiving dinner.
