Complicated things are fun. I'm not into technological toys like smart phones and similar gadgets; my mobile phone see very little use. It is more the complex systems and patterns that I find interesting. Some sort of artistic admiration about how everything is connected. I have no problems learning complicated rules of board games.

I do like more adventurous, action and mystery movies, often with a science fiction theme. Like "The Island", "Avatar" or "National Treasure". Or thought provoking ones like "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".
I don't watch much TV currently. British humour like "The Office" or "Black Adder", or military history like "Band of Brothers". Sometimes I get stuck an whole evening in front of historical documentaries or animal and nature programs.
I only listen to music when driving or dancing. Elsewhere it disturbs my brain.
I enjoy boardgames with some economic build up like Race for the Galaxy, Lords of Waterdeep or Hawaii. Some cooperative games like Mansions of Madness or Arkham Horror is also fun. Every week is an on-going role playing campaign: Pathfinder or Traveller.
When hungry: sauerkraut and sausages, pickled herring, mexican taco pie, spicy indian chickpea stew. I don't have the english names for all my recipes.
