I am interested in making new friends and expanding my already rich and eclectic social circle. I am active in the local Burning Man community and spend much of my time with friends I've made through this Intentional Community.

I'm a graphic designer and web designer with my own company. As mentioned, my passions are people, my friends and Burning Man. I'm desperately in love with my wife and look forward to many more years with her. I'll probably go back to school (I loved UNT, where I got my BFA) within the next 3 years to become a P.A. or a nurse, and have always wanted a Master's Degree, though whether it would be in medicine, Psychology, or Philosophy, I have yet to decide.

In the meantime, I'm having vast amounts of fun- LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!

Listening, writing, and communicating. I'm highly empathic and intuitive, and my minor in Psychology was a natural extension of my love for and interest in the way people think, feel and experience the world. I'm a talented moderator, and it's as easy as breathing for me to try on different points of view and perspectives. I am a passionate advocate of humankind, a loyal and eager Friend, and strive daily to leave each person and each moment better than I found it.

I often tell people that my Super Powers include attracting & befriending exceptional human beings and the ability to tell the time within 15 minutes without a watch.

My warmth and sincerity, my kindness and approachability! I'm usually happy and extroverted in public, and often the most likely to engage strangers and newcomers in conversation. I've been accused of having a mischievous smile, being childlike but not child-ISH, and (this is always hard to believe) of being one of the nicest people they've ever met.

That's a LOT of responsibility, but chances are when you meet me you'll find I'm present, pleasant and pleased to meet you!

I love anything Heinlein, and am a huge fan of science fiction and fantasy. I've enjoyed too many great books to list them all here; I rarely read non-fiction, though I plan to branch out! Special props to the Harry Potter series...

I find that I mostly listen to electronic music and classic rock. Currently, if I had to name favorite artists, I would say Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Massive Attack, Groove Armada, Frou Frou, Enya and The Beatles.

Movies, man I love movies! I recently discovered Across the Universe, Hair, and Shortbus, and I enjoy almost anything with a soul. Horror, Action/Adventure and intelligent Comedies... If forced to name my top 5 faves, Serenity, Last of the Mohicans, Aliens, Dawn of the Dead, Hostel and Wall-E would definitely be in the running! I heart Joss Whedon, and I think Firefly is the best television show EVAH!

Food? YES, please! If I only ate food from the continent of Asia for the rest of my life, I'd be fine- Thai, Indian, sushi (OMG, yes), Viet, Chinese, I love it all.

Burning Man & Related Events!

There's no such thing as a typical Friday night, or a typical night, for that matter! I might be dancing, disco camping, or riding a bicycle dressed as a zombie; I might be working on a website or learning to spin poi; I might be reading a book, laughing with friends at a bar or restaurant, or painting faces, bodies, or a canvas. Regardless, I can almost guarantee you I'll be having fun, loving life, and surrounded by some of the most awesome people on the planet!

I've seen folks get into a mess of trouble putting their business out into cyberspace, and while I am very free and open with the details of my life in person, I see no benefit in doing so here.

That said, hmmm, I'll bite...

For the most part, I detest watching sports! Nothing against athletes- I respect the skill and talent required- but I just don't get anything out of watching other people get exercise. Exceptions include the Olympics, the rare hockey game, and martial arts, which I love watching!!
